Default 3/5/09: The Shows You Currently Watch:D

Our Questions for today is from Calena and are about current TV shows:....

What show you loved from the beginning has disappointed you over its course?

What show you weren't too enthusiastic about from the start has you now hooked?

Great questions Calena

The show I am most disappointed about these days is Prison Break... IMO, it was the best show around at the start but sadly has got even more unbelievable then ever expected of late.... Characters have been killed off only to return again... with little or no respect given to it's fans!

I am truly disappointed in this show, of late....
Honestly, I am sticking it out til the end, just out of loyality for it now....

The show Supernatural, hadn't initially got me hooked... Fellow forum users were talking about the show at length for a while before I decided to knuckle down to watch it. I got hooked very quickly once I started to know the show. I wish it had the fanbase at the start, that it has now... I'm sure it would have done much better in ratings etc... Top show though!!! Definitely my favourite show on TV at the moment.... it comes very close to being my favourite show of all time!!!

smiley, are you playing around with your mod powers again? Didn't we already have this thread, ages back?

Oh, hail to these fellow forum users!

Unoriginally my answers are similar to smiley. I loved PB from the start, but they jumped the shark with bringing a certain beheaded character back. I didn't get addicted to SPN with the very first ep I watched but a few eps in I knew it was going to be great. I was hooked on Lost from second one, and felt let down by S4, but they are back on top of their game in S5.

Calena,
On doing a quick tidy up round these threads... I cannot come across another similar thread.... and as these are excellent questions to once again kick off these threads... They were ones suggested by a very learned friend of mine, btw... I thought we could once again talk about some shows!!!

I only watch a few shows every week. Started watching Lost in season two and love it. Started watching Heroes from the beginning, but I've been disappointed with its development. But my kids love it, and we watch it as a family. So I'm sure I'll keep watching it too.

Prison Break has been disappointing me since season 3.

According to Jim is a show that really surprised me. I didnīt know that James Belushi is that funny.

I was'nt very fussy on Prison Break season 3 and 4. They went into one prison, broke out, went into another prison and broke out again! Why repeat early story lines. The thing with the company and syla bored the hell out of me. Also Heroes trys very hard but has yet to reach the brillance it had in season 1. At first I was'nt really fussy on Supernatural. I got into it about midway through season 2 and now think it's really great.
