What are you favorite comic book-based movies or TV shows? Least favorite?

I think my least favorite comic book TV show has to be Birds of Prey. Do you remember that one? Heh. I had such high hopes for it but it blew so many chunks. Wasn't Ashley Scott in it? I think she's gorgeous, but she was pretty bad in it.

I liked Smallville at the beginning, but I haven't watched it for a while now. Lana keeps getting on my nerves.

As for movies, I really liked Hellboy and X-Men, and most all of the Batman movies. Oh, and Spiderman, of course. Haven't seen the third on yet, though.

P.S. Did you know that Ghost Whisperer now has a comic book series? Yeeaaaahhhh....I'm not going to be reading that one. :P

Hmm, I can't think of any good comic based TV shows, unless you count animated ones. The classic Batman: The Animated Series from the '90s was fantastic. But I think stuff like Heroes and Smallville take the worst storytelling tactics of comics. One day I think there will be a great live-action comic book show.

As for movies, I love Batman Begins, but not so much the '90s Batman movies. The Spider-Man movies are also great. If you want to go the non-superhero route, V For Vendetta and Sin City are awesome.

I have to say the one I always will love is "The Crow" - an awesome comic turned into an awesome film.

My favorite comic book movie has to be The Punisher and I'm not talkin bout the one with Thomas Jane and John "Battlefield Earth" Travolta either. I'm talkin bout the original Punisher movie with Dolph "I must break you" Lundgren. Also, I was flippin thru channels and ended up on Telemundo and whaddayaknow was on but the Captain America movie... with Spanish voice-overs

Gotta get my hands on that one. Least favorite comic book movie would have to be Batman Forever with Jim Carrey as the Riddler...can anyone say "a little over the top"...and what was up w/ Tommy Lee Jones as Two Face...he looked like he was having a seizure in every seen. Thanks a bunch Joel Schumacher
