| For today's question, I'd like to ask you which of the lesser Thursday night comedies on NBC that you actually liked? Never mind the great and enduring ones like Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends or The Office. I'm talking second and third tier here, like The Single Guy, Coupling, Veronica's Closet, Caroline in the City, Good Morning Miami, Just Shoot Me, etc., etc. I'm sure there are more that I just can't think of right now. Of all these shows, I think I liked The Single Guy the most. Jonathan Silverman was so cute, and it wasn't completely annoying. On the other hand, Coupling was just plain bad. Discuss!

Ooh I forgot about The Single Guy. Nice call Debbie! That WAS a great show. I'm on board with you. Ugh Just Shoot Me. Ugh Caroline In The City. I hope no one picks those!

I don't think I liked any of these, but there were definitely a lot of them. I think the one that annoyed me the most was Boston Commons. At least, I think that's what it was called. I hope the main actor from that show never worked again, because he was awful.

OK, prepare to hate me, Gina. In its early years, Just Shoot Me was very, very funny. I point to the David Cross episodes as "Slow Donnie," some of the funniest stuff on TV. And maybe it's because I was a dark teenager who could totally relate to Richard, but I rather enjoyed Caroline in the City. And though it gets a bad rap (wrap?), Wings is actually quite funny. However, to borrow Gina's statement, anyone who chooses to defend Suddenly Susan or Veronica's Closet is dead to me.

I liked one from a few years ago I think it was called The Tom Poppy Show it was one of the many stand up comics tv shows where when he was not working at a regular job he was trying to make it as a stand up comic. Also not sure if was Thursday nite but The Jeff Foxworthy Show with I believe a pre 6th sense henry jay osment also re not sure of it being a show on thursday but it had this single girl who i think had Tom Poston living in her closet.
