What's your favorite blockbuster movie? I am not too proud to admit that I loved The Day After Tomorrow, even though it was so totally cheesy, especially the wolves! But Jake Gyllenhaal (argh! How does one spell his name?) was so adorable, and I love disaster films.

I saw 27 Dresses. That was pretty good! I think that is my favorite for the moment. Did anyone else see that? I think that guy from xmen is the hot dude is 27 dresses too, so you really should check it out if you like him.

Oh my word, Debbie. The movie where they outrun the WEATHER? Yikes! Still, we all have our guilty pleasures. I have a need to see all comic book movies, even if they're terrible. I've wasted hours of my life watching Ghost Rider and the Fantastic Four movies. It's a horrible addiction. But since this is favorite blockbuster, I'm going with the Bourne trilogy. Brilliant filmmaking all around.

Hmm...the key word here is "Blockbuster"? Well then, I'd have to go with Batman Begins. I, too, love comic book based movies and this one absolutely rocks! Christian Bale blows George Clooney's, Michael Keaton's and Van what's-his-name's Batmans out of the water. If we're talking guilty pleasures alone, it would have to be Serenity. Why, oh why, did they EVER cancel Firefly? Sigh. I still can't get over it...

I too love all comic-book based movies. However, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer was HORRENDOUS! If I weren't on a pseudo-date while watching it, I totally would have walked out. It was sooooo bad. And Don, you know you loved The Day After Tomorrow! But hey, katolms, I don't think Serenity is a guilty pleasure at all! It was just pure greatness!

| I'm not into made out of comic book films too much, but I liked Ghost Rider. And "Sin City" of course. Is "Shoot 'Em up" considered a blockbuster? Probably not. we stumbeld on it by chance, hadn't heard of it, but thought a movie with this title was worth checking it out and we love it. Also not sure if "Eastern Promises" is a blockbuster, but it sure was a brilliant movie. Hm, someone should define blockbuster. I guess it's movies like Transformers, which I absolutely hated, by the way. Characters as flat as a sheet of paper and the special effects were so fast you couldn't make anything out. What a waste of time. I have seen "27 Dresses" and for a chick flick it was not bad, although I liked "P.S., I love you" better.

Ha, Shoot 'Em Up was great. Not a blockbuster unfortunately, but it should have been. Debbie, I actually thought that the second Fantastic Four, while still horrible, was a slight improvement over the original. It didn't hurt my brain quite as much, but both of them were awful. It also doesn't help that I loathe Jessica Alba and her "acting ability."
