| Calena is on a roll with great questions. Keep 'em coming! (Everyone else too!) What show you loved from the beginning has disappointed you over its course? I'd have to say Buffy on this one. It was my FAVORITE show, and then it just lost is snap in the last two seasons.

| Prison Break and Heroes. Heroes was a bigger disappointment for me. I seriously didn't understand how it was so good and got so bad. I don't think any other shows disappointed me. I watch the shows I watch because I enjoy them. There are some things, like plot-lines, that disappoint(/ed) me in shows, but not the show themselves.

| The X-Files... Don't get me wrong; it's one of my favorite shows of all-time. But especially the 9th season was a big disappointment to me. Not because of agent Doggett (I loved him actually!) or agent Reyes, but just that I got really sick and tired of the fact that Chris Carter thought it would be a great idea to kill off all the interesting characters... Mr. X, (okay he was killed in season 3 or something, but I was still pissed off by it) Alex Krycek (even more pissed off by that one), The Lone Gunmen (never saw that one coming )... The fact that Mulder suddenly was nowhere to be found in the last two seasons, except for a few episodes. It just wasn't the same anymore. |

| I have to say.... both Grey's Anatomy and Desparate Housewives... for me ... started out so good, showing great promise, but unfortunately just sunk into boredom then.... same old thing each week.... I kind of lost interest in both sets of series... when they went off air... and didn't note when they returned.... have to say... not overly bothered now either!!!

| Thx. TBH I just thought of this question, because I wanted to answer Prison Break. Contrary to many people I wasn't disappointed in the third season. But with their announcement to bring back You Know Who, they've lost my faith in them. If it should indeed turn out to be great and brilliant TV in some way my little brain just can't think of I will apologize to them, but right now I just feel like venting! With this move they destroyes the character of Linc and made their most evil villian of S3 a matter of ridicule who can't be respected anymore. Also they had one of the most brilliant last images of a season ever, with the gun and the origami rose, but that's pretty useless now, isn't it?

| ^^^ Yep.... I'm with you in your view to venting!!!! I am trying though to.... just keep the faith!!! I know the writers will not let us down!!!! Surely they can't!!!! Yes,,, that lasting image of S3... is a bit useless now if all this is true.... Though... something in the back of my head tells me.... no!!! NO!!!

The other one is The O.C. I was a hardcore O.C fan and talked about it incessantly. But it started going downhill in season 3 and season 4 became too painfully bad to watch.

| Definitely Prison Break. Now I never thought it was a particularly great show in terms of actual quality but it was a show for which I had a ton of affection and about which I could obsess/talk for hours back in seasons 1 and 2, not unlike adia. But while I thought that season 2 wasn't near as good as season 1 already, it got even worse with season 3. I have to admit that I mostly watched out of habit. And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, Sara's return is announced. This is just too much for me. I'm willing to suspend a lot of disbelief and I'm willing to overlook some plotholes but bringing a dead character back is just too much (especially when I hear that Sara was allegedly never dead and that her return was pre-planned all along. Do the writers/showrunners who say this really expect me to believe this? Why can't they either stick to their decision and defend it or just say that they feel like it was a mistake to kill off Sara and that's why they're bringing her back?). Another show would be Lost. I loved season 1 but stopped watching at the beginning of season 3 for several reasons.

| Season 6 of Buffy is the best, Debbie. Re-watch it and feel the love! Mine would probably be Veronica Mars. I adored the first season, kind of hated the second season, and thought the third season was just okay. That show had so much potential, but it just had nowhere to go after the first year. I would say Heroes, but that was never great to begin with. Still, it did get outstandingly awful in its second season. |

| I have to say Grey's Anatomy. The first three (3) seasons were great, this fourth season is quite disappointing. The while MerDer drama is getting tired. Gilmore Girls - I really enjoyed the show until Amy Sherman left. The whole thing with Lorelai and Luke and then her and Christopher getting married then divorced. I thought that they would just let Luke and Lorelai stay together. The show ended well though. |
