Okay, back on topic: Buffy season 6 was so tiresome! Yes, there were some amazing moments, such as Once More with Feeling and Tabula Rasa, but otherwise, I didn't find the nerds all that interesting (except for Andrew) and gawd, Xander saves the day with his love....snore! :P
OK, the way he did it might not be the coolest, but I liked that for once Xander got to shine.

No Debbie, Xander saving the day was heartbreaking and emotional! Plus the season had sex and darkness and depression. What's not to love?

I know it was a long time since I haven't been there, I'm so sorry but in fact my Internet connection had some problems and I was off during the first two weeks of the last month. It was repaired but, you know, I still had some problems so I decided not to come to BuddyTV until they've all been sorted! And now I'm here
I'm pleased to come back because I really missed the forum and our discussions... And I saw I missed a lot !

So, back to the topic : I think that "Smallville" can be put in that category because I wasn't a very big fan of this show in the very beginning but I really enjoyed watching it, thanks to Alison Mack ( ) who portrays, to my mind, the most amazing character Chloe Sullivan! But Chloe isn't sufficient for the whole show and I'm a bit saddened by the 6th season: Lex and Lana's marriage, Lana's fake pregnancy, the discovery of Clark's powers by almost everyone in the show and in Smallville (except Lex of course), Lionel's "cover" and I think the season finale wasn't as best as always: Chloe's powers (it was exploited a bit too fast, what wasted my pleasure) and her "death", the "death" of Lana in the explosion, Lex charged for her "murder" and the absence of Martha... I still havent seen the 7th season but I don't know what to think, right after the exit of Gough et Millar for the season 8. It's maybe the season too much...

I agree with the Ugly Betty one. Greys was soo good for awhile, but it is loosing it shine. Did anyone see Kathryn Hiegl in that 27 Dresses movie? It is coming out on dvd the end of the month and I plan on getting it.

I think I have to add Veronica Mars. The first season was incredible and amazing. The second one wasn't as good as the first but still great and enjoyable TV for me. But the third- well, there were moments when I really wished for the show's cancellation to finally come because I was so disappointed and feared that it would only get worse. I just couldn't believe that the same people who made such an awesome first season were responsible for the rather meh third one.

Oh, and I really *heart* BSG and it's like my second favorite show ever but there were episodes in the third season when I really thought the writers had been smoking too much New Caprica weed. Because seriously, "The Woman King"?

Beverly Hills 90210 and Dawson's Creek were horrible towards the end. Only because they were two shows where many fans were disappointed at how one charcter was given all the best storylines and all the limelight, and no signifcant thought was put into any other character's story lines.

Did you know they are making a new 90210?I am pretty nervous about it. I hope it does not suck. It seems pretty hard to beat the original. Melrose place was an awesome show too!

Has anyone mentioned LOST yet? Fans, please don't get the guns out but I really have" lost" all my interest in the show. I used to love the mystery that the castaways had to deal with and the obstacles they had to overcome that were often mentally challenging, the likes of which are rarely seen on TV.
Then they kept promising clues and yet they have just created more questions. That time thing I have always suspected, but what really makes me angry are these flash-forwards.

A guy from CSI once say on TV that when they first did CSI Las Vegas, flashbacks were frowned upon in the industry and a big no-no at the time, but they made them work for them.

The flashbacks on LOST were always good and when characters crossed over you had a true "Aaa-ha!" revelation...but somehow in the latest season the story telling has turned really bad, even confusing to the point where I cannot be bothered anymore. I have no idea what other people think about this as I don't even read up on this subject anymore and no one I know watches the show anyways.

Are there more people perturbed by the concept of flash-forwards, or its it just me?

It's blasphemy to say something negative about Lost, but I'm not very happy with S4 either. The flashforwards don't bother me too much and I liked the beginning of that one ep where you thought it was a flashforward and then it was actually a flashback.
I'm not really interested in the mysteries, couldn't care less about black smoke cloud, and I'm really missing the character portrayal and development this season. I'm not very into the new characters (yet) and I'm majorly pissed of that there was almost no Sawyer screen time.
I also could have done without Michael's return, never liked him much.
