4/4/08 TV Characters who should be audited

In honor of tax day which is coming up (note to self: argh! must finish tax returns!), I want to ask you which character you think is suspiciously living over his or her means? Explain why.

I think all of the Friends people should be audited. How can they afford rents in such nice, huge New York apartments when they don't work that much?

Also, Lorelai Gilmore. She buys tons and tons of designer clothes for herself and Rory - Jimmy Choos aren't cheap, yo! - even when she was just a manager at the Independence Inn. And even when she and Sookie opened the Dragon Fly, she had to borrow so much money to get it started that I can't imagine that it was profitable right away.

Who else?

Oh yeah, taxes. I should do those too.

I'm pretty sure that all of the rich parents on Gossip Girl have dabbled in a little bit of embezzlement here and there. That'd be great to see Blair's mom get audited, then watch Blair deal with being poor for a few episodes. Only a few though, as I wouldn't want her to be unable to afford white leggings for too long.
