Dean owns the car and he loves it. It really doesn't do anything special itself. It's not KITT. But it's very cool nontheless and as we - the fans - love Dean so much and Dean loves the car so much we love the car, too.

I have watched SPN.... Well two episodes of it..... somewhere at the start of a few seasons in.... I am taping another epsiode at 9pm tonight!!! But... so far.. they have just hopped into the car and drove.... no loud music in it... in fact they may as well have been humming a nursery rhyme in harmony whilst driving along.... for all I know.... am to busy using up all my strength trying to work out the rest of the story..... and why they keep killing off all these beautiful long hair flowing females with black eyes who tend to like to stand in the middle of chalked out circles and crosses drawn on the ground around them!!!! But ok then..... tonights episode... I'll pay more attention to the car!!! *wink*

Yes, that is a good description of what SPN is about.
I don't know which season is airing in the UK right now. The thing is that the music is mostly gone in season 3, no one knows why. But it was a big part in of the show in the first two seasons. Do you know what tonight's episode is called, by any chance?

I'd have to say KITT's prototype, KARR or the Knight Automated Roving Robot. KITT was programmed for human preservation whereas KARR was in it for himself, self preservation. Sadly, KARR only appeared in a couple of episodes of Knight Rider but I still have fond memories of when I was 8 years old watching the show and thinkin "wow, KARR is badass!" I mean if you could choose a car with artificial intelligence, which would you pick? KITT (car that has the voice of Mr. Feaney and has a little too much love, if you know what I mean, for David Hasslehoff) or KARR (psychotic and highly unstable death machine!!!)

Ohhhh yep.... I agree... that was a cool car.... I would have KARR everytime!!! KITT and Michael were just a little too creepily close at times for my liking....
