Meimei....LOVE that VM quote. God, the writers on that show were freaking hilarious. Anyone, KITT definitely deserves props. Is the Metallicar voiced by Mr. Feeney? I think not.

Searching back into the recesses of my mind, how about the Mystery Machine?

I have to give my vote to the Metallicar also. Kitt is cool with what it is able to do, but the Impala is just cool period.

Metallicar is totally a character on Supernatural. It may not actually have a voice, but Dean's connection to the car and just how cool the car is in general is the reason it makes it my favorite TV car.

I'm surprised no one mentioned The General Lee on Dukes of Hazzard.

I did like the General Lee when I was a kid. But I grew up in Canada and I wasn't really aware of the possible ways a Confederate Flag could be construed, and now I'm just deeply uncomfortable with the whole show. Or at least the parts that I remember of it, which is not that much.

Yeah perhaps that is the reason no one mentioned it. I mean the movie came out just recently, it was interesting how they delt with the flag issue. That the boys didn't have it painted on there. It is certainly a potentially controversial issue. A lot of things are like that. Gone with the Wind is one of my favorite movies, but some of the issues in there and in the book are certainly worthy of making someone uncomfortable, even myself. I enjoy the story but I imagine it could be a sensitive issue with some people.

OMG, the episode with Luke where Lorelai needed to get a new car and all she wanted was her old one drove me CRAZY. I was so annoyed with her in the end!
