2/3/08 Supernatural!

We saw some really interesting turns of events Thursday on Supernatural, one of them being that Ruby said that all demons (at least the ones she's met) all used to be human at one point.

So, inspired by Supernatural, today's question is, what other kinds of things would you like to see happen on the rest of the season?

I'd like the rock music back.

Dean getting out of his deal of course.
And Sam going dark side for a little while.
I'd also like seeing Dean really falling in love with a woman worthy of it (someone like Buffy )

Some things were already mentioned:
More rock music please.
Finding out what the connection between Mommy Winchester and the Yellow-Eyed Demon.
Dean getting out of his deal (though honestly, after finding out in the last episode that most demons were once humans, I would actually be slightly interested in seeing Dean as a demon and how he deals with that, but that would very likely feel too far removed from the original storyline)
Seeing Daddy Winchester again, even in case he's a baddie now.
I also wouldn't mind if Ruby gets Bela's screentime, just because I like Ruby more than Bela.
Oh, and please no further upping of the gore/gross levels. I know that a show like this is bound to have some gory moments but I don't need to see anything beyond the maggots in the burger. Eww.

I'd like to see Daddy Winchester. I don't care how you serve it to me, just get him on the screen.

I, like Lila, wouldn't mind seeing Demon!Dean, but it seems like it is a *very* long process before the soul is so far stripped from its humanity that is becomes a demon. Although...when I saw a preview for this weeks episode...: Highlight to read. Spoiler warning for this week's episode: Dean had black eyes. I know its supposed to be Bobby's dream world kind of thing. But I look forward to seeing a demon!version of Dean. I think it was mentioned somewhere that Dean has to face himself. Some people were saying that was egotistical of him--that his biggest nightmare would be himself. However with the new reveal that all demons were human, I can imagine the very *thought* that he will turn into exactly what he has always hunted, will scare the crap out of him.

I also really want Ruby to be evil. She seemed rather geniune in the episode that she still has some of her humanity, but I so want this to be some elaborate rouse to get Dean to let his guard down. She's sort of attacked what's most vulnerable in him, this idea that when he goes to hell, he'll turn into a demon and convinced Dean that they both want for Sam to be able to take care of himself once Dean is gone. I really hope she's playing them. *crosses her fingers*

Even if it was as a demon? I have a feeling that is where the whole 'all demons were once human' thing is going to go at some point. Spinning it like that also takes care of the JDM casting issues of the past. They would no longer need JDM to play the part ....which I think would get a big fat rejection from fans.

I would like to see some of the old Dean back - not so resigned to his fate
and more of Deans classic one liners.

I would like Papa Winchester to make another appearance.

I am not sure where they are going with the Human/Demon line especially since Ruby said it takes Centuries for that to happen...

Less Bela (that isn't working for me)...the interaction seems too forced

Keep Ruby...it has the possibility of going somewhere (Kinda like Cole from Charmed...hated him at first...then really liked his character, Spike from Buffy was that way for me too).

She said it 'might' take centuries. I don't know what the circumstances are , maybe how hard you fight it?

I agree about Bela. I'm just not feeling her character at all . Every scenes she is in i find myself sighing ....oh, her again.

I love Spike and Cole. I wouldn't mind seeing Ruby go that route. At some point I want to see her total evil side though, that will make for entertaining TV.

Papa Winchester's appearance must include JDM. I don't care if he's a demon or not. He crawled out of hell and saved his boys, I guess if they wanted it to happen, they could, but it just doesn't seem right to make him a demon once he made his way out of hell.

Then again, she did say 'every hellbound soul', so who knows.
