Default 1/6/08 Classic Shows

NBC is reviving American Gladiators tonight! What other classic show would you like to bring back and why?

I love classics like The A-Team, MacGyver, Miami Vice, The Persuaders, etc. Thank God for the DVD's, because here in the Netherlands it will take ages before they decide to broadcast all these shows again. Except for the A-Team; they broadcast that over and over and over and over...

Saved by the Bell, obviously. In the right hands, that style could be perfectly satirized.

MacGyver was awesome. I remember they planned to do an update of that show years ago starring Jared Padalecki, but it never happened.

However, my biggest dream is a return of Circus of the Stars. Now that all the prime time stars have nothing better to do, let's dress them up in circus outfits and have them tame lions and swing on the trapeze! That show was great.

They still show reruns of MacGyver on one of UK's Sky channels..... looking back at it though.... it was terribly funny to see him avert nuclear wars etc.... with just one chewing gum wrapper!!! LOL!!!
A Team was super too!!! Again.... it was funny how many different ways they could make a big fully army acceptable armoured tank out of a few sheets of galvanise , a few nails and a rusty 40 year old tractor... without an engine!!!!! No matter what shed they were in, even in the back of beyond.... they always seemed to find the correct power tools with electricity or fully charged batteries!!!! Amazing stuff!!!!

Wonder Woman was also good! LOL!!!.... Mental... in a way.... but good!!!!

I would love some reruns of the 80's shows... Dynasty, Colbys and Falcon Crest amongst others.... Dallas was on recently and I got all weird thinking back to those 'high shoulder pads days'!!!!

Circus Of the Stars...... I'm afraid... I don't know that one!!!!

I miss the Classic Enterprise.
Although it flopped I thought they did a great job with recreating the classic Enterprise "where no man has gone before"-feel with the Archer - Entrprise.

Falcon Crest - I remeber that one. I really liked it as a kid. But not as much as Knight Rider

I demand Whistler back! You did it with Sara, you can do it with Whistler, too!

I also really loved a show called 'Trapper John MD' when I was a kid...... I think it was american!!! I really loved that one!!! It was like ER... or House but with a very serious doctor!!!! LOL!!! Does anyone else remember anything about this show!!! All I remember about it is.... that the main doc had a really annoying red headed son..... LOL!!! and a really dishy sidekick!!!!

I'd love to see M*A*S*H but I'm not sure anyone could ever be Hawkeye in my eyes besides Alan Alda.
