Default 12/28/07 Best Finale of 2007

Which show do you think had the best finale, season or series, in 2007? Which had the worst?

Check out BuddyTV's opinion: http://www.buddytv.com/articles/home...les-14954.aspx

Um...I'm not sure. I liked VM's finale. It sort of brought back the old Veronica we know and love and kind of hinted at what good they could be, even if they hadn't really been up to par with the rest of the season.

I'm close to Lost's season finale (only 5 more episodes to go). And Gilmore Girls (ony 3 more episodes to go).

I'm trying to think if there was a finale that blew my mind...

Dexter's final for both Season 1 and 2 were really good (I saw season 1 in 2007, not sure when it wrapped up).

Heroes, Supernatural, & Prison Break were all mediocre in my mind. I can't really think of anything else. 24 I finished, but by the halfway mark my attention to the show had wanned some so I'm not sure what I thought of it as a whole.

So yeah, I guess Veronica and Dexter and maybe Gilmore Girls and Lost, I'll let you know after I finish those two up.

The Lost finale was definitely the best I think. And so was Gilmore Girls.

Was the latest Desperate Housewives episode a finale? (4x09 - Somethings Coming) Because that was one of the best episodes of 2007 IMO.

That's about it... I still haven't finished S3 of Veronica Mars, so I don't know about that one.

It's not over yet... there are still 5 more episodes that will air in January, so that wasn't a finale.

For best season finale I would probably have to say Dexter too.
While the BSG season finale certainly got a WTF!?! reaction from me (cylon reveal, Starbuck being back), I'm not sure if it was the good or the bad kind of WTF. I guess I'll have to wait until the 4th season starts until I can say something definite. But right now I'm more on the side of saying that it was great.

I think mei might be talking about the finale of the 2nd season. And if that's the case, I'd have to say I found it mediocre too. But then again I can't say I was too enthused over the 2nd season as a whole.
And I think there's still one more episode (4x10) of DH to air in January. But I'm hesitating to call that a season finale because it was the last episode to be finished before the writers' strike and therefore maybe not intended to be seen as a season finale.
I'm kinda split on the VM finale though. I remember liking it back when I saw it but when I was thinking about it now I had problems to remember what actually happened. So it seems like it didn't really leave any lasting impression on me.

I was talking about the season 2 finale. None of it really made sense to me, it felt like to me they came up with what Sona was actually going to be at the last minute. Everything season 3 is about just doesn't sit right with me.

VM was good, it actually made me long for a season 4 and at that point I was so resigned to VM being cancelled.

I have to say, the Gilmore Girls finale made me ball like a freaky baby. I kid you not. I was crying so hard I could barley breath. And dude, I don't cry during movies and TV shows. I get sad, but I don't actually and physically cry.

Right there with ya, mei. I started sniffling from the opening credits and I didn't stop crying until like an hour after the show ended!

Me too! OMG it was awful. My eyes were red and my cheeks were puffy and it took so long for me to calm down. I don't know what was with me. Part of it is that Gilmore Girls has always been something I watched with my mom (who lives 3000 miles away) and so I think seeing the end without her made me extra sensitive to the series finale.

SPN was missing something for me in the finale as was the Heroes finale. It wasn't that they were bad, there was just something more that I wanted from them that I didn't get.
