| Have you guys seen our Top 7 of '07 articles that we worked so hard on? :P Here's the article about the saddest deaths of 2007. http://www.buddytv.com/articles/home...ths-14993.aspx So, my question today, is what is your opinion? Whose was the saddest death this year? I'm going to have to say Don Lamb on Veronica Mars because I was soooo sad to see him go. I smell bread! |

| There are two. Definitely Charlie on LOST, and Niki on Heroes. I was a bit more sad for Niki, but Charlie's death was just oh so dramatic! Oh, I forgot about Sara on Prison Break. But I was still sadder for the other two.

| For 2007 I would probably have to say Sheriff Lamb. I totally hate the way he was offed, not so much that he died at all. Being such an integral part of VM made him deserve a more eventful death, not this Keith-gets-a-phonecall-that-Lamb-is-death stuff. I can't think of too many other sad deaths in 2007. Well, Starbuck "dying" was quite sad but then she came back. (And all the other deaths that made me really sad didn't happen in 2007)

| Moderator ![]() ![]() | I have two saddest deaths. One of course would be Sheriff Lamb. He was a great character on that show, you could always count on him to trip Veronica up or piss her off. He was a jerk and an antagonist, but especially with everyone loving VM again after Season 2 and 3, it was nice to still have that unbridled hatred. I think there were a lot of things between Lamb and Veronica that went unsaid and I think there were a lot of things about Lamb that went unsaid. I wouldn't have minded if they had killed off his character, but they way they killed him off and how easily he was just displaced out of the show bothered me. They really could have done something with his death. Played on Veronica's emotions, done into depth about maybe why Lamb hated her and her family so much. I think there was something there, a reason for his hatred, more than just 'Keith was the former sheriff'. There was something else there and I think they blew their shot at expanding on any of that with a quick, off screen death. My second saddest death would have to be Johnston Green on Jericho. Oh. My. God. did I cry. I couldn't believe they had actually done it. And Jake and Eric's reaction to the whole thing was heartbreaking. That last episode was so intense and so emotional, I don't know how anyone could have let that show get cancelled, even for the short time that it was.
