Default 12/5/07 Reality/Strike

Because of the WGA strike, a lot of scripted shows are ending, if they haven't ended already, and the networks will largely be replacing them with reality shows. Which reality shows will you be watching during the strike and why?

hahahaha ... the better question for me would be which ones won't I be watching.

I'll definitely be watching Big Brother and I'm excited that we'll get another Survivor in February. I'm also looking forward to American Gladiators.

Aahhhhhh!!!!! American Gladiators!!!!! I love it! Ha!

I'm not sure that Crowned is due to the strike, but trust me, it is AWESOME. It premieres next Wednesday, so everyone should check it out.

I'm no fan of reality TV, but I haven't watched any American reality TV shows, maybe they are better than the German and Austrian ones, which wouldn't be too hard. I'm going to use the breaks to check out series like Journeyman, that were recommended to me by esteemed other forum members.

crowned: the mother of all pageants, snoop dogg's father hood, the girls next door, the amazing race, american gladiators...

probably not celebrity apprentice though. I dont really know any of those celebs enough to want to watch it.

Okay, Crowned is the mother/daughter pageant show? I'm not really into pageant girls or pageant moms ... or even pageants ... but I'll at least catch the first episode ... just cuz you said so, Debbie, hahaha

I won't be watching reality, but I'll be catching up on older shows like 24, House, Veronica Mars, Desperate Housewives, Supernatural, Dexter and on an on the list goes.

I won't be watching any reality shows either. I'll rather use the time to rewatch all four previous seasons of The Wire, now that I finally have the DVDs, before it starts again in January, just to prepare myself.

hey ladytex, I got my hands on a copy of the premiere of Crowned, and I tell ya, it's so bad that it's good. I am sick of ANTM and those model wannabes, that these pageant girls are a nice change of pace. they're so competitive and.... wow, so catty , clueless and desperate. and not to mention all the mothers who are so protective of their daughters and living vicariously through the daughters' lives - it's pretty funny.
