11/9/07 TV Moms

Yay!! It's Friday! For today's question, I want you to think about all the moms on TV. Which TV character would you most like to have as your mom and why?

I'm going to emphatically say that I do not want either of Camden parents on 7th Heaven. Obviously, Lorelai Gilmore totally rocks as a mom. But I think I would want Sandy and Kirsten from The O.C. as my parents. They're hip, they're cool, they're fun, but they'll also discipline you if you need it.

I don't think you could find a cooler person than her!

And I agree I wouldn't like to have any of the Camdens as my parents!

I also take as my mom Lynette Scavo, I find here so fun, well I only watched the 1st season of Desperate Housewives but she is cool, little Crazy but cool

Another person I'd like is Edie Britt from Desperate Housewives.

I know she's not a mom on the show, but she has a nephew, and he has it good living with her. :P

No, Edie is a mother you're wrong! Her boy is Travers but she has the custody just two weeks in a year, after that she agreed to that with her ex husband! So, you should have to see the third season of DH and mostly round the end...

Privately, I'd like to see Piper Halliwell as my mother. She's such nice with babies, first she had some problems but after, she totally rocks on that! Wyatt, after Chris... And at the end maybe another child (a girl?)... She's a great mother but after, she's grams! Plus, she’s kind, she is a good witch and she balances well her “job” with her mother ways… If I have to choose one, I’d choose her!

Lorelai Gilmore. I love the way she and Rory discuss random things and how theirmind works - she can be mature and adult one time and totally act like a child another time, which is just the way it should be. We would have movie nights with lots of junk food and share clothes and talk about guys and go to Luke's every day and and and.... She's the one - although I recently started watching Brothers & Sisters and I don't know the mom there too well but she seems okay too. Not as cool though, so go Lorelai!!!

Yeah, Nora is a good mom, the Walker family is just a bit crazy and that's not making relations bewteen siblings really easy but fortunately Nora has got the maternal figure that enable the alchimy in this family. I'm just a bit too younger to be her son but I'd be proud if it was up! But that means having one, two, three, four, five brothers and sisters... A little baggier family than the one I'm in! And they're all great, as the mother... So, why not after all! The fact is: I don't know if I can choose between Piper and Nora now... I've managed but that's very hard... Err... Ok, I think I'll stay standing on my roots and vote for Piper but if I could choose a second mom, I think that Nora will be this one!
