11/1/07 Best Old Shows

The first day of the month! For today's question, we are going to take a look into the past. Which canceled show do you think should be brought back and why? Some examples of good canceled shows that I can think of are Arrested Development, Firefly, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, The O.C.

Arrested Development, hands down.

I know this wasn't a real canceled show but I loved Charmed. The actresses were pretty good as witches and the plots were absolutely amazing. I hope we can have a reunion or something in this type because even if I love this show I know it's impossible it to come back. I'm so sad about that because I think he's overbetter than some of current shows which are really disappointing.
So, I'd like to see back Dead Like Me because it was so well written and enchanting. The actors were great and the sense of wit and humor was just wonderful! In fact, I'm so happy that they're filming a movie but if they could recreate the show, that'll be the best!
I like The O.C. too and I was terribly sad to know that the show was down. I mean, it started the career of Ben McKenzie and Adam Brody and Mischa Barton aswell. I liked so much their chemistry... I miss them!
Arrested Development was the great comedy show I've ever seen! So amusing and funny... I thought they could do their characters for a lot of years but I was so disappointed th hear they ended up the show.

Finally, I'd have to say that this is almost impossible to choose just one old canceled show because they were so much! But, I think I'll choose Arrested Development because if the characters were near to madness and depression, they were always funny as hell!

Arrested Development. Awesome comedy IMO and thankfully no love track.
Veronica Mars maybe. I would actually have liked to see the proposed FBI storyline but after season 3 I wasn't that said to see VM go.
I would like to say Farscape though I'm still in the middle of watching its fourth and final season. But I definitely get the feeling (from what I have seen so far and from spoilers I heard) that I very much would have wanted another season of Farscape.

I would definitely go with Arrested Development. I miss that show & own all the seasons on DVD. It was so good & so funny. It brought back my crush growing up - Jason Bateman! And since the show ended, I just haven't seen enough of Will Arnett.

Firefly all thge way!! they had an amazing 13 eps..I would love to see it back. the characters were awesome and the dialogue rocked so much
also I would like more of Drive...I only ever got to see 4 eps of it....sad

^^agree. I would love to see Firefly again and Drive. They really got shafted..grrrr FOX.

Ooh, Dead Like Me, I really liked that one. Good call. I can't believe I forgot to include these two, but I would do ANYTHING if we could get Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared back. Those two shows, especially Freaks and Geeks, were just sooooo perfect. I can't believe that they didn't make it. Anyone else with me?

You can call me ignorant cause I haven't watched a single episode of Arrested Development, Firefly, Dead Like Me or Drive. I'm sure they're all good, but I really miss Gilmore Girls. Yes, the stories somehow did go in circles but I especially liked the fast and complete nonsense dialogues.

Very true. GOB was awesome. I love it when he does that stupid dance during his magic shows... Well, in fact, everyone on the show was awesome. Even the guest stars. I miss that show so much.
