Default 10/29/07 Heroes

Tonight is another brand-new episode of Heroes, so today's question is about this superpower-laden show. Do you think the second season of Heroes is succeeding or failing? If you think it's on the decline, do you think it can come back?

Talk amongst yourselves!

Edited to add: obviously it is the year 2007, not the year 2001. I am a tiny bit ridiculously inept when it comes to typing on the number row. Anyway....

I think its on the same level as Heroes Season 1. I think the first few episodes of Season 1 were kind of dull and slow. Now there is a new story being told and its just a slow getting started. I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing because I think the payoff of the later episodes is worth it. I think there are a lot of characters and Heroes is having trouble balancing some of them, but once the train really gets going I think it will be a good season.

i know that a lot of people are disappoint with how the season has been thus far.
personally I think people need to sit back and give them a chance to prove that they can do it....I mean yes Im aware some of the storylines right now are noit perfect, but for myself Im willing to wait because I reckon they will make it worthwhile. Plus I really love some of the characters, new and old

I am one of those people, don't get me wrong it's still interesting but i LOVED the first season. To, me it's much slower paced this season which is good because that gives you much less to have to analyze and speculate about so you can spend more time on the more important things. On the other hand the face pace and action of the first season is what hooked a lot of viewers in to the show in the first place. I think just about every show has a 'sophomore slump' and Heroes is no exception. I don't by any means think the show is failing but i don't think it's quite up to par with last season either.

I think the show is definitely getting better. I believe the first season, which I absolutely loved, was just an introduction to the real story which I think this season will be m ore focused on the actual planned story.

The only thing I don't quite like... I miss Peter... The real Peter... His story is still my favorite but I miss him

I voted for "It's about the same." Yeah, I think that new characters are as mysterious as the first ones were on the season one and that's the real interest! All resides in the characters who make the storylines and the expectations. Just like for Veronica Mars' Kristen Bell... She made a big buzz for her character! I kinda love this actress and when I saw her on Heroes, I'd have to say she's really great! Elle is very mysterious and her not-very-baddy aspect is interesting... I'd like to see more and more about her. But alike Fearghus, I'm saddened by our Peter Petrelli! He's so different than the man he was in the first season and I hope he'll back like he'd has to be. In the other hand, I'm disappointed about Isaac and Simone's exit. I loved the painter so much and even if that wasn't exactly the same for his ex-girlfriend, she was an important person in Heroes.
Actually, I like the plot about Angela and Takezo Kensei... the producers have well written their background. That's a really interesting point.
