Lee Pace on Pushing DaisiesAs the WGA strike continues, more and more shows are being forced to try to make something out of their remaining scripts in the hopes of presenting viewers with a satisfying season, albeit a short one.

According to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, ABC's Pushing Daisies has joined the roster of shows preparing for an early season ender as a result of the strike.  Show creator Bryan Fuller explained that the series' ninth episode, the last for which a script is written, can be used as a season finale should the strike bleed into the new year and beyond.

Your article is factually incorrect. Production ceased on Grey's when the cast and crew finished filming the last script that had been written. The cast have shown their support for the writers, but the reason for Grey's production closing down is because of the strike not because cast members have joined the picket lines.

I love Pushing Daisies! Its quite possibly the best show on television. Writing, dialogue, directing, camerawork, acting, everything is top notch - even the characters outfits! I'm upset by this early ending, I really hope we get a full 22 episode season.

Without the writers there would be no show... REMEBER THAT the next time you are enjoying a wicked awesome show like this one!!! Writers dont get enough credit!!! Actors are nothing without good writers and directors have nothing to direct without a good script to go by!!! I say make the writers happy and soon because we need our shows and other good shows are threatened by the strike and may not return for more seasons so lets hurry up and make them happy so they can get back to writing the stories we love the most!!!
