Pushing Daisies gave us a special Halloween episode tonight, and with it came another great hour of TV. Not only was this week's case fun and engaging, their was ample character development, especially with the pie maker himself, Ned. I'm enjoying the formula of beginning each episode with a scene from Young Ned's life and how that informed who he is now. This is necessary because, by nature, Ned keeps his feelings close to the vest and, while he may seem simple on the outside, Ned is clearly a complicated man. Olive and Chuck had their moments as well, and we learned a lot about Olive's previous vocation. click here to read the rest of the article: http://www.buddytv.com/articles/pushing-daisies/pushing-daisies-episode-15-gir-13262.aspx

I love this show! No other show leaves me with a smile on my face like this one does. Other shows make me laugh and may have better one line jokes and situations, but this show delivers what it has in such a charming way that I can't help but smile and feel genuinely better every time I watch it.

I totally agree with you, SumoMonkey. On a lesser show, the cute little things would come across as too precious and annoying, but Pushing Daisies is pure genius. Emerson's pretend phone conversation with Olive's money==hilarity!

I was so happy to see Hamish Linklater as JJJ. He's hilarious as Julia Louis-Dreyfus' brother on The New Adventures of Old Christine. No, honestly, that she is very funny.

I've never saw DLM, but PD is brilliant! Indeed its the freshest show on TV and I really hope it lasts long enough to garner a following. This episode was top notch!
