I am enjoying Private Practice this year, I really am, but last night's episode had too much childbirth in it. I get that having babies is one of the big kinds of storylines on TV, like weddings and murders and all that good stuff, but childbirth is the grossest! All that screaming and grunting. I was so squicked out when Addison climbed into the birthing tub with that widowed woman. Imagine how much crap (and I mean that literally) is supposed to be floating around in that water??? Ewww.

Hahahahaha, that scene elicited quite a loud 'ewww' from me. That was so nasty and unsanitary.

...I had to laugh when I read this message because it's"cute" in its own way, but I love watching childbirth because a little treasure is coming at the end. like opening a christmas present.

Speaking of childbirth, this is a little bit O/T (bad Debbie!) but the birthing scene in Knocked Up was probably the grossest and most realistic (but funniest) one that I've ever seen. Does anything think that Addison will have a baby soon? Personally, I'm split on this issue. She really wants one, and I'm so mad at Shonda Rhimes for punishing her for focusing on her career during her child-birthing years, and I want her to be fulfilled and happy. But I think that it would change the dynamic of the show.
