In South Africa PB is only on pay TV as well - I discovered it on DVDs, and been watching from Season 2 episode 13 from downloads gleaned from right here!

Thank you all for the trouble you take to upload the links and the episodes - truly appreciated from down here in Africa.

Quite frustrating for customers to be caught in the middle - our national channels are now so shockingly boring that I will simply have to look at acquiring pay TV, which I never really wanted. I don't want my kids glued in front of cartoons all day. Ah well, stricter rules will have to be implemented .... and the wicked witch is born!

But the problem with SKY is the palaver to get it!! I have just bought a freeview digital box, and to get SKY I would need to ditch that, and get an outside satellite disc, A new SKY digi box, a phone line `near` the television!(?) have it all SET UP..plus an £11 landline charge from BT over the cost of the SKY package!! NOT ON!

If I can get SKY 3 on my digi box already, why cant I just pay a subscription to SKY for its other channels and keep my new freeview set up!

I considered doing it for PB3, but I dont like the way SKY operates, dont like their ethics, and certainly do not like the really complicated set up they run in order to get it. I cant believe in this day and age they cant come up with something easier!!

Sorry, Why BOO Sky?

At the end of the Day, If Sky were extorting prices, Why was alot smaller "iPTV" provider able to make the costs..

Oh, Thats right, Becuase they saw an oppertunaty for there customers and took it.
If Virgin Media really cared for their customers they would have done the same.

Also, Doesnt look like Virgin Media will still be around (By the Same People anyway).

They really are loosing their heads, Virgin Media have asked there private Accountants to put up a Private Bid to see who will take it from them, And to clear off there debt of almost £6bn.

BBC NEWS | Business | Equity firm targets Virgin Media

It just shows how weak Virgin Media as a whole are, They were fine on there own, (NTL & Telewest) all Mr Branson has done is caused alot of Palava.

Im not a Sky Fan Boy! I just dont see why you all think Sky is in the wrong.
Its how businesses work, When a new CD/Album comes out and the deal is given/obtained by e.g, HMV from the Record Label, All the other parties like, Tesco ect will look to get the content aswell.

Yes, You dont agree with Sky' ethics?

If Sky have paid top dollar, They are within their rights to "limit" it to Sky Customers.

I know I am with Sky (Which is Great), But then, I dont agree with Virgin Media's ethics of, Not be prepared to "Pay" topdallar for content and then waste all the money they could have spent on it, Into PR Stunts claiming how bad Sky are.

Sorry, If I seem picky or almost having an argument im not (:P Im a nice person lmao).

But I fail to see how Sky are wrong, If Sky didnt get the Prison Break someone else would have e.g, Virgin Media, Who would have put it on Virgin Central or something again, Limiting the choice for people, Forcing people into switching to Virgin Media.

I feel sorry for you being with Virgin Media, Most of there services are highly inflated and the management imo, Is absolute cack.
Mr Branson just loves getting his hands into everything he can and f**k it up.
e.g, Virgin Cola he took over a what was successful Cola company and put his name over it and took it off the market.

Now he has done the same for Virgin Media, NTL:Telewest is fine.

What I would like to see happen is,
a) Someone decent take over the Cable Infrastructure in the UK
b) Have proper competitive services (FUP has ruined the Internet), Invest into the HD, and use 16:9 more.
c) Work out a deal with competitors like Sky bring the channels back fairly.

PS. I dont actually think this court thing is going to get you the channels, Not now that Mr. Branson is cashing out and the company might be getting a PE owner.

But again it would be great for Virgin to get the hell out,
NTL:Telewest to be back and then its happily ever after, As without the Sky channels on the other platforms, Theoretically Sky dont have competition and could be lenient on the deals.

BSkyB will be airing the show on a Saturday night, and Lost on a Sunday night. Thats the Saturday after the US air.

So not much of a wait is there? Five and Channel4 did nothing for those shows, Aired them way behind ect ect.
