| Hit Television Show Gives Ohio Hospital its Big Break Thursday January 25, 9:15 am ET AKRON, Ohio, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- How are the hit FOX show "Prison Break," a hospital in Akron, Ohio and the world's most renowned treatment program for alcoholism related? Find out the answer on the Jan. 29 episode of "Prison Break," which is set at Summa Health System's St. Thomas Hospital in Akron, Ohio. In the episode titled "The Message," Summa's St. Thomas Hospital is a meeting place for two of "Prison Break's" characters, Michael Scofield, who's on the run with his brother after escaping from prison, and Dr. Sara Tancredi, a former addict who seeks strength from Alcoholics Anonymous' Big Book. Alcoholics Anonymous was founded in Akron, Ohio in 1935. While no filming for the episode occurred at St. Thomas Hospital, several scenes take place in a fictitious version of the hospital. "Many people do not realize the important role St. Thomas Hospital and Akron played in the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous," said Dr. Victoria Sanelli, medical director of Summa's drug and alcohol treatment program. "We are excited to have the hospital's rich history acknowledged in such a unique way on 'Prison Break.' " Summa Health System's St. Thomas Hospital also played a role in the early days of Alcoholics Anonymous. In 1939, the first inpatient unit in the United States for the treatment of alcoholism was established at St. Thomas Hospital when the hospital's administrator, Sister Ignatia, and Dr. Bob, a skilled proctologist and founding member of AA, admitted the first alcoholic patient to the hospital. This resulted in a methodology for the treatment of alcoholism that spread throughout hospitals worldwide. Since that time, St. Thomas Hospital has treated more than 50,000 patients for alcohol and substance abuse. In 2006, the hospital dedicated the Sister Ignatia Heritage Center to preserve and honor the work of Sister Ignatia and those who followed in her footsteps in the treatment of substance abuse. "Prison Break" will air at 8:00 p.m. About Summa Health System Summa Health System is one of the largest organized delivery systems in Ohio. So, does this mean that Michael and Sara get a reunion without Kellerman and Linc there? I HOPE SO!!! Maybe they meet in Ohio and then meet Linc and Kellerman in indiana at the train station, where it all goes down. OMG!!!! This is great news...I didn't expect to get a real reunion because I thought Kellerman would ruin it for them, but the spoiler clearly states the meeting place for Michael and Sara, no one else. PLUS, I didn't think they would meet until EP. 16, I guess they meet in 15 (or make contact per the spoilers - which could be by phone or something) OR else they both go to the hospital in 15 and there is a cliffhanger, which you know PB love to do to us. The hospital and code would be deciphered in 15, so thats why the article could say they meet there in 15, instead of 16. They could meet there at the beginning of 16 then. GOSH...who knows. Anyhow, this is great news!!! Also, how very clever of Michael to use Sara's knowledge of alcohol treatment to code a message of a meeting place, as it is something that would jump out at her; something she would recognize immmediately (as we all suspected it would have to be a message that would jump out at her). He knows that Sara will know the meeting place because of her medical knowledge and put it all together, maybe he saw the Alcoholics Anonymous' Big Book in her purse during ep. 10 in the motel and he codes the message as to meet him where Alocholics Anonymous was founded. The morse code message is "the water is warm," so I guess that could some how be deciphered into alcohol if there's more of a message to go with that, that Mahone doesn't see in the sides, which Sara does. Anyhow!!! OMG!!! They meet up ALONE AGAIN!!! THANK GOD! :yum: |

| Just sounds like they meet there and have maybe a few words. But episode 16 picks up right when they reunite. |
