Whether you want to admit it or not, you know Lincoln will be exonerated at the very end.

Here's the thing, though: Michael will still need to serve time for (pretending to) rob that bank and masterminding the whole escape plan. Lincoln is innocent, but technically, Michael isn't.

So maybe that's how the show will end..? Thoughts?

I know that in reality then Michael would serve time but I think that due to the huge conspiracy that he has helped uncover then de to public input etc he will be let off

well technicaly linc isnt innocent either as he went to the garage that night to kill terrence ( no one realy knows for sure if he would have pulled the trigger). none of them are innocent but heres my take on it.

when and if the conspirocy is uncovered the government will be majorly embarassed and when it hits the media mike and linc will have greedy lawyers queing up at their doors to take on this case and sue the governemt for everything they can.

mike has given up his life to proove the company and the new prez are involved in this coverup/conspirocy so his brother didnt die. the country will be gratefull that the truth has come out and the ppl responsible for this mess are locked up rather than out there free to do this again. i think the brothers will be seen as heroes and i would like to think a pardon would be there for them. i mean they have both commited crimes while they have been out and this is all due to this whole thing spiralling out of controll. it all comes back to both the prez and company. therefor they should be the ones doing the time as mike HAD to committ these crimes.

i think a pardon would be possible for mike and linc at least coz they would have helped uncover the truth on the company and the woman now in charge of the country. i mean even the governor has died and his daughter was set up and nearly killed. once the trith comes out ppl and the non corrupt government will be horrified and may want to cover it up. someone out there will have the power to grant a pardon so i dont think its impossible DESPITE the crimes that actualy have been comitted by the brothers along the way.

im not sure where this would leave the others though. i mean cnote and sucre both comitted crimes and had no part in uncovering the conspirocy so i think they may still have to serve their time. not sure on that one.

Why would the show end with Linc being exonerated & Michael going back to Prison? that'd be one of the worse series finale's in history.

agreed! that would be a huge anticlimax!! i mean the whole idea of the show is that the good guys fight back and hopefully win. if they dont win then its just like real life imo and if i want that then i would watch the news. i want the cliche happy/ good guys win ending coz thats why i like fiction. yes i will definately feel let down if linc were exhonerated and mike ended up in prison. it would be a waste!!!

Prison Break is very unpredictable, and the writers have this way of making everything fit together perfectly. Ending the show with Michael back in prison makes sense. And adds room for spin-offs.

If they get to Mexico it wont matter Michael wont have to serve time, thats the whole idea of getting to Panama, once he's over the border hes safe.

Oh my god!!! I love Mike, Sara, Linc, Sucre & LJ :love: and don´t want neither of them dead, pleaseeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

And what about Sara?? She could go to prison. Remember she helped the inmates leaving the door opened. And now she´s on the run....
