| I thought this was interesting and thought u might enjoy the info. One of my law professors watch PB and commented on it. My friends and I were discussing the show and possibly legal outcomes for Michael Scofield's character if everything was exposed, as we all get together and watch it. My law professor stated that if a conspiracy like this was exposed, it would be the biggest conspiracy to ever come out of the gvt. It would change our entire government system and the way the U.S. is ran. He said the public outcry would be the thing that mattered most. They would grant Lincoln a full exoneration and pretty much clear his entire record, all drug charges, everything. He would receive a large sum of money for the trouble he went through. They would fix him up with a nice place to live, a vehicle, a job, everything necessary to replace a life that the gvt. took away from him. He said that Sara, being as she knew nothing about the other individuals and only thought she was helping an innocent man escape and being as her father was killed by the company and she was hunted, tortured, and almost killed herself, she would of course not be charged with any crimes and the state would offer her career assistance, a sum of money to get her life back on track, and her record would be expunged. LJ's record would be expunged, pot charges gone, everything gone. He would also be given a sum of money due to his wrongful imprisonment, etc..(same with Linc) Lincoln and LJ could both sue the federal government, if they wanted to. Plus, the could both pretty much deal with the gvt and get whatever they wanted. My professor said that Michael Scofield, if in reality he did everything that happened on the show, he would still get pardoned of his crimes and not go back to prison. He said that the public outcry and the story of brotherly love behind it would make him an instant celebrity and the government wouldn't dare put him back in prison after everything his family and him were put through by the gvt. conspiracy. He said that the gvt would probably try to work a deal out: Lincoln wouldn't sue if Michael's record was expunged and pardoned of all crimes relating to the conspiracy. But, my professor basically said that the public would never allow Michael Scofield to be sent back to prison and the gvt wouldn't dare try it, even if Lincoln didn't take the deal. As for Michael letting the other escapees out, my professor said that they would ask Scofield's help in citing information to use to find the other escapees, but, due to the gvt conspiracy being blown open, Michael Scofield's character wouldn't be charged with anything for it. Basically, again, the public outcry mixed with a gvt. conspiracy mixed with a heroic brother story would be way to much for any charges to come out of this, relating to Michael, Lincoln, Sara, LJ. He said the gvt. would be kissing their a*ses. LOL! Anyway, I thought that was interesting to know, as the show is fiction, it is pretty fun to find out what legally would happen in an non-fiction real life scenerio. |

| i'm sorry to burst your bubble but my mom studied criminalogy under some of the leaders in the field and she says that your professor is wrong about sara, licoln and michael and the other inmates... lincoln would be exoneration but he wouldn't get anything other than that just a clean slate... sara would be tried for aiding and abedding for each escapee and jumping bail... michael is the worst off he would have aiding and abedding for him and the others plus escape for him and the others... he would be put in jail and never see freedom again... in real life..but nothing about this show would happen in real life... no legal system works at that speed... trust me

though i think her prof is right only if the affair is known by the public via the press. Of course i don't think they would get the key of a new car, a villa next to the sea lol though they would get some money for the prejudices they have suffered and your mother is totally right regarding the law. But you know any judge applies the laws at his convenience and the public opinion may have an inidence on his judgment though its a fiction | |

| It would be great if the show ended like that. Although that might be too perfect. |
