Abruzzi: Still Alive?

Here's an interview with Peter Stomare that suggests that Abruzzi may not be dead after all.

if he is alive... i wonder how they would bring him back without seeming far-fetched.

i think that it is better that he stays dead. there are already way too many storylines to follow, and adding people back down would just be confusing.

don't get me wrong.. i like abruzzi (a good bad guy). i just don't think it would suit the story.

I wish that were true ..but dude his ass was shot so many times ..no way he can still be alive. He is talking about the first time we all thought he was dead i think

OMG, that would be like a dream come true. I've been just tuning in out of curiousity these days. Would love for him to come back.

This probably should be moved to spoilers btw.

It could easily be explained as a setup. Where he wanted Mahone to think he had killed him. Bullet proof vest.

Then Mahone gets what he wants (thinking he had killed a con), but yet we get the lovely Abruzzi to come back and save the day. I can just see Michael's face (and T-bag's!) when Abruzzi shows up after they think he's dead. Would be funny because his faked death worked and Michael's didn't.

What if (this is a really BIG and doubtful if). Mahone wants the company to think he killed these guys when really hes stored them away somewhere and plans on bringing them to REAL justice when the company is brought down. I realise this is highly improbable ut its the only way I can think John could still be alive.

He's dead why would they fake something like that? His story never got developed, he's had his part in the story. I dont think hed have anything else to give to the show.

His storyline has tons of potential. Remember the guy has connections. You're thinking in terms of his past storyline. He could do anything.

I'm not sure he could actually come back with it seeming too soap opera-esque(for those of use alive in the 80's remember on Dallas when Bobby was dead then he came back to life and it was explained that his death was just a 'dream sequence'?) I just thought it was something neat to share with everyone. But for the record, I think Abruzzi is actually dead.
