It's pretty long and may kill your bandwidth lol but there seems to be a lot of new stuff in this "making of" documentary including interviews and behind the scenes footage.

Only catch? It's entirely in French. I did high school French and can get the general gist, but it's annoying when they dub actors/writers cuz the voices talk too fast! Any native French speakers care to help out?

It's really long to translate everything, so I'll give you the main / new information.

Paul Scheuring had developped a screenplay in 2003 about escaping prison. Two years later, he added the story about two brothers, who risk their life for each other. The tattoo would be a visual element to recognize the show.
Fox wasn't very keen first, but decided to give it a shot.

Scheuring thought about aggression and hard prison life for male viewers, and a little bit of romance for female viewers. According to the pilot, women responded better to the show than men. Scheuring didn't expect that, but realises it must be because of the goodlooking actors.

The casting: one week before filming, the two main characters weren't known yet. SWC was first casted, WM last. Paul Scheuring wasn't convinced about DP, b/c he had a surfer look when he showed up at the casting. Anyway, the first day on the set, he had shaven his head and grown a beard (he did that himself) and Paul Scheuring noticed he looked like WM.
Stacy Keach spent 6 months of his life in real prison. B/c of Prison Break he felt free and liberated, he could let his past go. DP also spent one night in prison when he was 18.

First season was shot in Jolliet. They talk about the history of the prison, AN says there were ghosts, because of the strange atmosphere. Jolliet was very dark and uncomfortable so they rebuild a set for filming.
At first, the crew wanted that DP sat on the real electric chair, DP refused and they made a new one.

Rockmond Dunbar about the team: everyone is motivated, passionated, nice. They don't treat you like crap. Muse Watson also like the bond between the actors.

A lot of jokes on the set. There was one scene where Peter Stormare had to lift up a table. DP had put peanut butter under the table. Once they call action, you have to do your scene until they say cut. So Peter Stormare did the scene with peanut butter on his hands.

Cast loves the screenplay and it keeps on getting better and better.

Sometimes they work 14 hours a day. An episode takes 8 days to shoot.

Talk about the tattoo... (nothing new I think)

About the success: Paul Scheuring didn't expect it. He planned 44 episodes, but he is writing a third season now and he says it should be ok (so no stretched out story). PB is success in more than 70 countries.

About winning People Choice Award: means a lot b/c it's for the fans that they are doing it. WM loved being spoofed in Mad Magazine. For him, it's more of an honour than a golden globe.

About the paparazzi, press,...: WM's agent told him to make two lists: the first one with things you don't want people to know about you, the second one with things that'll make you a star. You have to try and put the things from the first list into the second list.

About the fans: always new fans, now also ex-inmates. Muse Watson tells fans felt sorry for the cat. Robert Knepper enjoys when fans tell him he's a great actor and when they're not afraid of him. Once, a woman was scared when she saw him, but then she realized he's just an actor.

About Cannes promotion: busy days!!!
Oct. 9th: DP shooting for music video
Oct. 10th: press conferences, interviews, photoshoots => a reporter asked about WM's love life: his heart is not taken, women have to wait until after PB

About music Faf La Rage

About future career: very succesfull, great opportunities. WM remains focused on PB and will see after that what will happen. They ask him to listen to a little piece of music of the Tigertones. He confirms that's him singing. But he's not going to sing (ever) again: too many cigarettes and too little practice!

About the second season: Tattoo is still needed, relationship between Michael and Dom is important, we will learn about before they were incarcerated. The difficult relationship he has with Sara.

SWC tells the kissing scene was hard. According to the voice over, she thinks she's the only woman who doesn't want to kiss WM.

Paul Scheuring reveals that in season 2, it will appear that the main character is not who we think it is...

Ah! I was wondering about that, I heard him say something about not singing again and cigarettes. I never knew he smoked

Please tell me she is joking lol. I interpreted it as something like she thought next season would be hard to act because she's supposed to be the only woman in the country who isn't attracted to Wentworth? That's what I wanted to hear anyway lol.
