that episode 9 will not be shown until January, 2007. I can't confirm right now, am currently looking for solid confirmation, but be prepared that there may not be any new episodes after episode 8 at the end of this month.

Well, according to a promo I saw on FOX, both Prison Break and House will be on hiatus during the baseball playoffs/World Series, with Prison Break returning October 30, and House October 31 with new episodes. Now, it's possible like what happened last year that it will only return for a couple weeks and go on hiatus for Basketball playoffs, but that's just pure speculation on my part. If that's true that means it would probably go on hiatus again sometime around Thanksgiving and not return til January at the earliest, or like last year until March.

These hiatuses are longer than the actual summer break. LOL!

The whole season will air. Just not in 22 or so consecutive weeks.

Just think...if they did air all 22ish episodes all at once, that's only about 5 months. It'd be over in January until August or September. That would be a 8-9 month haitus. At least this way we have a bit to look forward to.
