I was so sad to hear that on the news. My husband and I have watched every epi. My heart goes out to his wife & children. What a great man he was who truly loved animals and wanted to make sure people understood these creatures like he did.

I saw the headline about this and at first thought that I read it wrong. I guess with a job like Steve's everyday is a risk. It's such a tragic thing to of happened and my thoughts and prays go out to his family.

Just as you predicted the jokes have started already, I just lost a very good friend a month ago in a car accident so I can imagine what his family is going through people are so insensitive.

This is a nice article the Austrailan Govt is offering a state funeral to honor him if that is what his family wants.
