| I was just wondering..whats the rationale behind not being able to edit your previous posts after 5 minutes? Im not complaining but im curious to know the reason. Because sometimes when you start a topic or something then you find some information u wanna add in after to the first post so everyone will see, but you cant.

The Edit is weird with me. Sometimes I can just edit two seconds later after I realize that I made a typo. But sometimes I try to edit the next day and I don't see the Edit button anywhere. So I have to make a new post. It's weird. I have never had this problem with any other vBulletin forums.

I've actually never seen that done on any forum before. The feature can be turned off in the Admin Panel, but I suppose it's desired here.

Most forums I go to lets you edit whenever, and I like that... but I haven't been bothered with it here so far

I gotta say that I prefer it when you can edit a post. Sometimes I post something but a few minutes later think of something else that I want to add but can't add it on to my post because to much time went by. Being able to edit posts helps to keep people from having 3 or 4, one sentance posts in a row. Well, that is just my opinion on the matter.

i got to agree i am an admin at another forum and i really dont like double posting i would rather just have the power to edit my message for example when i was posting the direct dl links i would have no choice but post and repost over and over again due to the fact that the edit button was only valid for 5 mins
