I was thinking about it. The way Malone freaks out and needs meds on a daily basis coincides with the same behavior as Haywire. Could there be a connection? We already know that Michael and Haywire are both geniuses only Haywire couldn't cope with reality and now we have a character (Malone) who is slowly balancing on the fence and could go either way. I wouldn't be surprised if there were to be a BIG plot twist involving Haywire and Malone.

with Low Latent Inhibition u either go crazy or become a genius....maybe that is one of the connections??

Exactly. Plus with all the pressure on Malone he could eventually flip out and might go to drastic, even deadly, lengths to get the Fox River 8. I still think Malone has a very shady past. He is to quiet and to into his job. There is no mention of his home life. It could be that one of the Fox River 8 knows something about him that he doesn't want to get out. Or it could be another character from season 1 that we haven't seen as much of, although most of them are dead or at least thought to be dead.

Of course Malone is probably aware of Michael's low latent inhibition so he could try to twist it to his favor. I am still unsure if he knows though. He keeps acting as if Michael is just a normal criminal, which we all know he is not.

It could be that Sarah is the only one who knows and she (once more) may be crucial to him getting away.

Many may say that Michael may lose it and flip out but I doubt this due to the fact that the last time he pushed someone away, T-Bags first boy-toy, they went to drastic lenghts to get help elsewhere. I.E. killing themselves. Michael cares too much to let the stress get to him. At least not for a lengthen amount of time.
