Or maybe Michael just realised that he wasn't as clever as he thought

He knows he's clever Im sure but he probably hadnt met anyone that was as his level or thinking. Its going to be interesting to see them trying to be one step ahead of each other.

What about Bellick and Geary? Pope? Manche? Old man Burrows? President Reynolds? The woman from 24 series 2(cant remember the character name!)
The Abruzzi family? Will we see any of these again this season?

Will Michael go to see Westmoreland's daughter? Did Haywire hear about Utah? Will there be any more cryptic messages?

Some things i have been thinking about.

I agree that Mahone must have the same thing as Michael but Mahone hasn't learned to control it or use it to his advantage so he feels that drugs are the only way he can keep it from driving him mad as in to the same level as haywire. I don't like Mahone but it would be nice if he could discover that LJ and Lincoln are innocent.

But he seems to be directing the hunt as a quest for Michael and the other 7 are just bonuses if he catches them.

How is it that no one accounted for the fact that Westmoreland had been in jail for decades and didn't exactly have his finger on the pulse of the goings-on in Toole, Utah?

sh4d0ws - great thought! I posted that earlier in another thread too. Great minds think alike!

Anyways, adding that on, I think that Mahone is going to eventually go through all of whats happened and find out that Lincoln/LJ are innocent.
I was thinking about it. The way Malone freaks out and needs meds on a daily basis coincides with the same behavior as Haywire. Could there be a connection? We already know that Michael and Haywire are both geniuses only Haywire couldn't cope with reality and now we have a character (Malone) who is slowly balancing on the fence and could go either way. I wouldn't be surprised if there were to be a BIG plot twist involving Haywire and Malone.

michael has low latent inhibition and low self worth. here is a site for it if anyone wants to read it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low_latent_inhibition
