I wont go on as im still kind of unsure which I never normally am you either love it or hate it, but I have been a die hard PB follower since the pilot and have championed it all the way through but some how the finale and The Final Break has me sitting shaking my head and I dont know why yet.

Saying that I thought Sarah Wayne Callies acting was fantastic throughout and her and Wentworth really do work that chemistry. If ever there were two people who should work a spin off it should be them.
Great post, couldn't agree more!

After giving into the urge to watch it (even though it's on in 2 days over here) i also had mixed feelings.

Can somebody please tie up a lose end for me though please?
- Did Mahone actually betray Michael when it came to the parachute escape and Michael just used the dummy as he thought he'd been betrayed, or was Mahone telling the FBI about the escape all part of a greater plan to distract them?
Any help much appreciated!!

Wow watched the last episode (22) and thought it was a nice way to end it. Ties up all the loose ends, justice was served but as for Michael, well that just sucked.

Then I go see the extra episodes 23+24 and thought what the hell is gwan on. So not able to let go just yet I dived in was glad I did. Great double bill did feel a bit rushed but was action packed and did Michael much more justice.

COSTELLOMUSIC in my opinion Mahone was a mole until the part where they go to buy the parachute. He says to Michael "There`s another way" after he gave him the DVD`S at the airfield and told him he trusted him. I beleive this guilt tripped Mahone in coming clean hence the new plan was born. I know some people have said they dont like certain bits, well. You know what they say you cant please everyone, pleased me though.

Betrayed him first time with the fence and security cameras. Then helped him out the second time with parachute by telling the FBI guy a wrong story.

If Mahone didn't turn on him first time, Scofield would probably have escaped with Sara and Gretchen .... All Mahones fault really, would have got away in season 2 if not for him the biatchhhhh

That's true, but Michael was going to die anyway, so it's not so much of a difference. The only one who got screwed by Mahone's actions was Gretchen, then.

Yep I agree! I also think at the end Mahone did get his job back, he earnt his badge again hense the hook up with him and Lang in the Finale. As well as blaming the writers and producers im now blaming Mahone with Michaels death......
