Let us say The Man is just tired of this girl, and wants to shut her up. With this he chooses the hypothetical ending that obviously will cause most harm. The Man appears to me as intelligent, yet somehow willing to let people know details.. Hmm.

Things that also catalysts (you know what I mean, not sure of the english word - soy Noruego) this theory is the fact that he states that "he was gonna die anyways because of the tumor". And I who thought he fully recovered.

^^^^ I am notorious for making long posts, so the one you are referring to is not out of the norm. I don't think it was a waste of time because of the following: (1) everyone has the right to share their thoughts and opinions, and I take pride in mine; (2) someone has to speak up and point how the deplorable behavior of these people; (3) someone needs to defend the writers and The_Man because they are under a lot of harsh criticism at this point; and (4) I really needed to vent, and it made me feel a little better.

And, not to be rude, but is it not a waster of time to point out I wrote a long post and wasted my time?

i just want to say this:
it is not fehrianlovers fault this is on the internet.
fehrianlover told me.because she knew that i am as worried as she is.
we couldent believe this is happening.becaue we spent so much time into the show and into these characters.for years.and i never though i say this,but i wish they dident bring Sara back.whats the point of bringing her back if they decided very quictly after it that they kill Michael off?just so our love for them would grow more and then kill Michael off?i dont even want to imagine Sara when they burrie Michael.i dont want to imagine her after she hasent seen him for four years.she would want him to be there and be alive so bad.and he doesent even get to see his own son?i wish she wouldent be pregnant.and we couldent stand it to watch our MiSa friends have so much hope that Michael and Sara will be alive in the end.so we told just the MiSa fans we know.and told them not to tell.but one of them dident listen and posted it in the internet.

more than 90% of the fans are so shocked.not because all of them are MiSa fans,but because almost everyone who watched the show wanted Michael to be alive.they loved this character.why does anyone else get to live and Michael dies?they could have killed anyone else,just not Michael.he doesent deserve this at all and i was really hoping that after all he has done and after all he has been through,he would get to live a normal life with his family,and not die in the very end.because of a damn tumor.it really is important to me that he has a happy end because i spent so much time into these characters and loved them and now i cant even think of their moments because i start crying right away.
when the majority of the people that watch the show adore Michael,why do they kill him off?why do this to the fans who have been watching the show for so long and found place in their lives for their work?
and me and fehrianlover never told to anyone to write Private Messages to The_Man.i dident even know if fehrianlover was sending him any.

Candyrose, you know I´m a MiSa shipper but you are right with what you said. The writers (even though I don´t agree with all their decisions they made) shouldn´t be offended or harassed by fans. It´s just a show and the writers and The Man are human beings.
I can´t understand that some ppl say that the writers should be killed. Prison Break is only a show, people! It has nothing to do with reality. Michael and the other characters are fiction.

To all Prison Break fans:
Do not threat The Man! He´s a member here and insulting members is forbidden.
If you don´t want to read spoilers avoid to come to this section here. If you want answers ask and wait until The Man or someone else gives you an answer. Do not bug The Man to get some answers.
If you get an answer you don´t like, don´t forget your manners and be polite.
Do not forget that on the other end is also a human being like you and deserves respect. And if this human being is willing to give answers even though you don´t like them don´t threat or offend him or her.

Now let´s take a deep breath and wait for the next episode.

Let me start off and say I believe you are entitled to your opinion and have the right to share it. No one should be silenced simply because their opinion doesn't match the opinions of everyone else.

I highlighted some parts of your post that I would like to address, so please pay attention.

You said that people are disappointed because they invested so much into the characters, so please note that Michael and Sara are not the only characters on Prison Break. Each of the characters--and the actors who play them--have their own established fan base. Some people may invest more of their interest in Linc, Mahone, or even T-bag.

Closely related is how you stated that 90% of fans want to see Michael alive. This is not necessarily the case; your percentage is an exaggeration. There are numerous fans on this board and elsewhere you DO THINK Michael should die; in fact, if my memory serves me correct, even WENTWORTH MILLER himself stated Michael's death would be a good way to end the show. What I really want to point out is something I've already briefly mentioned. You stated that you'd rather the other characters die as long as Michael remained alive. Well, what about the fans who have invested a great deal into the other characters? And what about everything Michael has stood for throughout the series. If Linc were to die, for example, then all of Michael's actions, all the pain the characters--all of them--have gone through would have meant absolutely nothing. Michael wanted to save his brother and take down the company, do you honestly believe he could live with himself and live a normal life if Linc were to die? We all know Michael is notorious for harboring guilt. He's the type of person to let guilt eat him up until he loses it and explodes. Going with everything we have seen throughout the entire series, if Linc were to die, Michael would not have a happy ending, even if he were able to be with Sara and the child. The guilt would kill him; it would drive him crazy. Michael would be miserable...not happy. Also, you want Michael to remain alive because of Sara and the child, but what about Linc's son and what about his relationship with Sofia? And what about his relationship with Michael? If Linc dies, look at everything he is leaving behind. Maybe if Linc survives, he will have the chance to redeem himself. He will be able to be the father he never was to his son. He will be able to carry on, in Michael's name, and try to do better for himself and his family. Linc's life was screwed up. He made a lot of mistakes along the way, sure. However, I think after an entire life of feeling beaten down by society and his circumstances...after feeling alone and going down the wrong path (all while trying to do good by Micheal, by the way), he serves some happiness. Michael had the good life compared to Linc. He was able to get a college education and live a relatively normal life, while Linc was on the streets, ecountering obstacle after obstacle. He wanted to look after his brother and make sure Michael had the things he could never have, and he sacrificed a lot to make that happen. It's one of the reasons why Michael broke him out in the first place--he realized all the sacrifices Linc had made for him.

So, not everyone is a MiSa fan. Plus, not everyone is so hell bent on Michael living, especially when it means other characters will have to die. I know it doesn't seem that way because you have a strong circle of online buddies who share the same opinion as you, but not every fan of Prison Break religiously visits Prison Break forums and posts their opinions.

As far as your disappointment goes, I'd have a better understanding of it if the show had been different and if MiSa had been portrayed in another way. Let's be honest here. How many times have we seen them together? Have we ever seen them have sex? Have we ever seen them share long, extended, passionate embraces as they profess their love for each other? Have we ever seen them wake up next to each other in the morning, while they cuddle and share a few short kisses? Have we ever seen them holding hands, talking about all their hopes and wishes, making plans for the future? Have we ever seen them curled up on the couch, just talking or watching a DVD? We haven't really seen too much of MiSa in the contexts you refer to. There hasn't been much there to show us and convince us they are truly soulmates and meant for each other. All we have seen is MiSa running away from men with guns, MiSa hiding behind corners while a bunch of men hunt them down, MiSa arguing because Micheal lied and didn't have a plan, and so on. The entire series has only taken place over a few months, and most of that time Misa was apart. Sara was either on the other side of the country, running for her life, or she was kidnapped and held against her will while Michael was trying to find her. When Michael and Sara have been in close proximity to each other, they were usually running away from danger, in a room full of other people, arguing with each other and trying to get over their issues, or working on a plan to take down the company and complete missions. So when MiSa doesn't have the perfect ending, it's not as big of a loss as it would be if we had become accustomed to seeing them together in romantic contexts and sharing sweet tender moments with each other...and living normal lives as a happy couple. If they had been married, living in the suburbs, with a white picket fence, a nice house, and a few kids, and a family pet, then I would most certainly agree it's a great loss to kill Michael. But...and I mean BUT...they never had that.

WOW!!!! Folks.... What a day you've all had!!!

I have read through whole thread and I have taken everyone's comments on board! All valid!!! Just want to let you all know... I am one of those 'Non Michael/MiSa' fans.... In contrast to many on here, I never saw a relationship there from the start.... in fact their union was very much made up of a load of obstacles of why they should never have been together then reasons why they should have. It is true, according to PB writers/Creaters etc... that Sara character was indeed supposed to die at the end of S1 going into S2... and Veronica was to have lived, however, planned were changed specifically because lass who played Veronica [Robin Tunney] left show to do some other work, so her role was revised!

IMO, til the day I die, I will always maintain that Sara's whole 'Head in the Box' death scene' was one of the most cracking death scenes I have ever watched in any show! I genuinely was fearful of Gretchen at that point.... I was afraid for LJ, I was sad for Michael etc... I thought it added another dimension to the show, brought back that spark that was gone for a bit!

My big problem is not, I REPEAT NOT.... that Sara has returned to the show... but rather the method in which it was done for fans.... not all of us are and ever were MiSa fans.... but it kept all MiSa fans delighted!!! Like many others, I got over it eventually.... But as Candyrose has correctly said.... there may be a fondness for each other there... but there is very little action going on for these two.... anyone who reads more into that is just overworking their imagination!!!

Of course, in an ideal world.... we would all love to see everyone ride off into the sunset... all in one piece.... with the whole world saved!!! But in reality, from a netreul point of view.... I would rather see Michael die at the end then for an ending to happen to what was once a good show.... just to keep a branch of the fans happy!!!

As PB fans, would you not rather see an ending to the show that will have your jaw drop off the ground??? Would you not rather have an ending that will be far more remembered and talked about for it's brilliance, rather then just for it's banality...as it is done just to appease fans?

Honestly, as a true fan of the show, I admit I lost alot of interest in it last season... they could have done so much more with Sona, then they eventually ended up doing.... they had some great characters like Lechero, Sammy and to a certain extent Whistler, at their disposal... but they chose to play it safe and not use these characters longterm... opting to instead completely overdo the whole Company angle.

I don't know about others, but I honestly have struggled to keep up with the plots so far this season.... I admit, my respect was diminished a bit for the show once Sara popped back in .... but also just due to the fact that there have been so many breaks and hiatus's etc... I have just lost some interest. So therefore.... as long winded as this post may be.... again I state.... I am maybe in the minority here, who doesn't totally invest her whole time in Michael character! I am sticking with the show til the end ...I don't want the riding out into the sunset scene..... I wish for a cracking end with a finish that will be talked about for years.... maybe even an unexpected finish, that will stun us!!!

Just to let everyone know, I started another thread in the spoiler section. If anyone has something to say specifically about the writers or how this spoiler came out...or whatever else that is not exclusively related to the actual plot, please post in the other thread.

I agree 100%, Smiley. I think MiSa was more of a possibility, the product of fans' imaginations than anything else. MiSa was never a fully established couple on the show. Even last episode, when we saw a few moments exchanged between MiSa, it wasn't entirely sweet. Michael was rather non responsive to Sara. She was trying to be sweet, I suppose, but he didn't reciprocate. Heck, he hasn't even noticed she's pregnant, yet big, bad, evil mom is in the room for less than 5 minutes and she realizes Sara is pregnant. Michael and Sara may not share too many moments together, but I'm sure they've spent more time together than his mother has with Sara. If they are so fixated on each other, then how could he not notice when she did. I mean, Michael is known for his attention to detail, his ability to notice things others do not.

BTW, Smiley, have you seen the promos for the V-man's new show? He appeared to be nude in the promo, although it didn't show him from the waist down. He was topless, however.
