Yes it's the real ending . The final movie will just fill in the blanks to what happened between the finale and the 4 year flash forward .

Isn't it out already, i read something about a special where michael goes back to the company to fix his neuro problem, during these four years??

Yeah you read that in another thread here and it has been confirmed by The_Man that it's not true . Someone just made that up.

It's only going to air on TV in the UK next Wednesday , I believe. The rest of us will have to purchase the DVD in order to see it .
