| If the producers have Season 4 in mind for the show's final season, what can we expect to happen between now and that ultimate final episode? It goes without saying that at least one principal will die (for real this time), and that there will be more plot development in the area of the Company. For me one of the biggest letdowns of the show was the revelation of President Reynolds tape being nothing more than proof of consensual incest. I was hoping for more to be honest. The introduction of Whistler this season put an interesting spin on the story with the Company. In order to expose who these people really are and what they are all about, you have to have some inroad to their operations: Whistler. My fear is that we will never learn crucial details about the Company, either because the show won't allot time for it or the writers want to intentionally leave that vague. My theory is that Season 4 will be more of a mystery/thriller than the previous seasons, and we won't see nearly the same amount of action in each episode. I'm hoping the show does it right too, I want there to be great writing and acting, and no more half-assed line reading by some secondary characters. There still is conflict, but I don't think we'll feel the tension or dread that the first three seasons have provided. That's my take on things at least. What do you guys think? |

| I'm just hoping for an uninterrupted season that isn't rushed and is back to usual formula! For me... I feel they could have done more with the Lechero character... I'm kind of sad he is dead now! And Whistler... well that character shows so much promise... I hope his story is not overshadowed by 'She who cannot be named' return.... Speaking of her imminent return.... I have to say I have changed my views of Sara a little.... suddenly.... she doesn't look so hard a task for Mikey to sort out.... Maybe that's why they did it.... Seriously where exactly would Mikey start anyway in his singlehanded campaign to bring down the company.... ??? Oh I dunno.... ??? * Keep the faith, Smiley.... Keep the faith......... * !!!!!!

| I think Mahone isn't working for anyone....I think he has enough cause to screw over the Company on his own. They systematically threatened his family, injured his son, and as he so eloquently says "sold me up the river." Mahone certainly is an interesting character though, and I hope WF stays on as long as the show wants him to, he brings a lot to his character and the story. It would bring a nice sense of closure if Mahone broke apart the Company, sort of a Vader-esque act of redemption. |

| ^^^ Oh I get it..... A sort of ... ''MICHAEL... I AM YOUR FATHER''!!! sort of way.... Mahone could keep in touch with Mikey next season..... He'll turn around and say.... same to Lincoln..... Oh ... I really hope that certain character returns will not mess or detract in any way from Mahones or Whistlers characters next series..... Personally... I would rather see more of them....

| Personally....I would rather see more of Sara's head. Just floating around the screen during the show, or perhaps as a graphic advertisement on the bottom corner of another show, with the words: Sara's disembodied head says watch Prison Break! Mondays at 8/7c on FOX! |

| Despite all the rumors and information being revealed about the upcoming season, I don't think we can really know what the next season will provide. They have given us enough information to know of some key twists, but it's not enough to know how the entire story will be affected and where the characters will go. It seems that the revealing of this information, mainly Sara's return, was a way for the producers to spark interest among a fan base that may have been waning. And, from what I can see, it is working. Pretty much every board PB-related is rife with threads about her return. I have to agree with JJJ on this one: I don't think there is going to be as much action and suspense, especially when taking the descriptions given into consideration. It has been purported that upcoming season will skip time and then provide flashbacks to fill in the blanks. Going with this, I am guessing it will be sort of an aftermath-theme, where we see the characters after the ordeal is over.....and then we see how they got there...how it happened...and so on. If this is indeed the last season, then I can understand the decision to go this route. However, I don't think the last season ended in such a way where this approach can be most effective. There are still so many unanswered questions which have surrounded the show since the first season. During the third season, it appeared we were finally going to get some of these answers, and Whistler was going to be the open door which would allow for the story to take this path. Therefore, given the ending of the last season, I am a bit skeptical about the upcoming season. I still believe in the writers and have faith in their abilities, but I just feel this was a decision that was rushed and may not be in the best interest of the show. I really think if the strike had not happened and if this were not going to be the last season, they may have made different decisions. I too was disappointed by the contents of the tape. I really expected it to be much more than what it was. Sure, it was shocking and disgusting, but it didn't give us any more relevant information than we already had. I really thought they could have done more with those characters or at least dug a little deeper. I think they would have had interesting perspectives to bring to the story.

Have we seen his severed head in a box? No? And does that really even matter...because even severed heads can reattach themselves in Prison Break. |
