| Senior Member | it was great ep...i really enjoyed that one,but i must say a few things weren´t much compelling to me...first i was little wondered that guys escaped through fence and no one saw them...second thing that was little incredible that Mcgrady´s father arrived and by chance he found exactly the same place where they were...and last one what little dissapointed me was that James lost his book and then way how Teddy picked up that...these things was little hasty IMO,but all in all it was fantastic ep...i appreciated that we finally came to know what was dug in on the beach and why Linc recorded shoots...It was pleasant watching how he outsmarted Susan ^^ ....i must say Linc little annoyed me in this ep...i don´t know why he was so cruel to Mahone and Whistler.....i understand he probably was nervous about Lj,but still...although Alex killed his father in Sona he saved life of his brother...and it was enough crass when Mahone wanted give pic of Cameron to sachet and Lincoln snaped out him...Whistler was good one in this ep LOL....it was funny how he affected so injured...how dissimulated that his ankle is out of joint and how he was skipping like kangaroo

I really like his character and have a great appreciation for what the writers have done with him. They humanized him, constructed him in such a way that you really don't know what to think of him--you either hate him for what he has done or you have sympathy for him...I think he has been one of the better written characters on the show, and WF plays him so well. Yes, Linc wants revenge....to make the man responsible for his father's death pay. However, I don't think Mahone really took anything integral away from him because his father was never really a part of his life. In essence, he was pretty much already dead to the brothers...they didn't know who he was or where he was...or even if he was still alive. In addition to this, I believe his father knew it was inevitable that he would die...it was a part of the decision he made when he turned on the Company....and this wasn't a murder in which some blood thirsty agent goes shooting away, looking for a moving target. It's a bit more complicated than that. And, lastly, what about the sons, daughters, wives, and husbands of everyone who has died as a result of the brothers--whether direct or indirect? Do they too have the right, the justification to go after those responsible?? How about the brothers?? Remember my fake Molly scenario? The one I wanted that dude to write out? Well, I think it would be interesting if some innocent party, with all their misguided anger and sadness, would somehow place the blame on the brothers....with a conflict of some sort resulting.

Thank you! We really can't know if he would have pulled the trigger. I think Whistler's escape came at the perfect time and offered Mahone a chance for escape as well. No matter how much Linc wanted to get Mahone, Whistler was more important because LJ's life rest in his hands...in his cooperation.

After another watch: Why did Michael and Linc resign to not chasing Whistler? They just stood there like idiots, they had a working car right there. The only thing I can think is for a dramatic effect. I hope next week's episode starts with a scene of Whistler drinking coffee at a shop, then Linc comes in and smacks the coffee out of his hand. "What's up bi$%^?" "Oh, I was scared....boohoo....I'm a fisherman...." [SMACK TO THE FACE] The end.

The funny part this show came from Lincoln and T-Bag, especially when Whistler said something and Lincoln said "Are you still talking?" I believe Whistler ran away after seeing what they would do with Mahone, I mean if they shoot Mahone they could just as well shoot Whistler (he doesn't know Mahone shot their father)

Also the thought that Mahone and Whistler were cooperating crossed my mind. That Whistler asked Mahone to create a diversion so he could flee. But that seems a bit far fetched to me.
