I'd love to see a few more episodes of those three working together with very little interference from anyone... the dynamics between those three is great!!! Yeah... That's what it was: They just kept teasing him over and over again. He was feeling a bit rejected and ignored.....he was jealous that Mikey was giving Mahone more attention....hmmm, I know what that's like.....lol
I think they work well together.....I bet they get along in real life....there has to be some authenticity to it.

On a whole, I have to say I agree with your comment! I also think that Mr. M. acting skills have much improved since Season 1. No one can say he is not dedicated to his work.... when standing next to the rest of them... he really must have felt/feel like a fish in a bowl!

I don't really know what you 2 are talking about, Michael not being (or having been) a good actor? I think he did an excellent job from the very first ep!

I think people under estimate Mr. W....he really brings a little something extra to the table. Have you ever read his blog......I've read some of it....and he talks a little bit about making PB....

Ok, he wasn't whining; he was pleading....Hey, desperate times call for desperate measures....right?

OK scenario 1: J.W. is a bad company guy. Then what he did was straight out lying.
scenario2: J.W tells the truth as he believes it. That's he's innocent and used by the company. Than he's still whining, because he wants Michael and Alex to forgive him.
He kind of contradicts himself by telling them that he's just an innocent fisherman and then saying he knew that the money was too good for it to be an honest job. So even if he was just a fisherman, he certainly wasn't unsuspecting, he said so himself.
Alex was definitely in charge in this scene with Michael playing along and giving him something to bounce off on (like the 3 of us have been known to do - have you noticed how who's leading our "relationship" is constantly shifting? I don't know if I make myself clear, it's hard to phrase it in English what I mean. I really liked the way smiley came up with the idea that Susan and James could be brother and sister and then candy and me elaborating on the soap opera idea of smiley's, for example)
And "Whining Whistler" is far more catching than "Pleading Whistler".

He has got better with each passing season though!!! I'm sure even the man himself, if he were honest would even agree with that opinion!!! He has, IMO, grown in confidence! When I read back these posts.... It has just occurs to me just how much of a bad influence Smiley is on you two little innocent ones..... you were both positively naive and virginal before Smiley got her hands on you both!!! It's good too, the dynamics between us.... one bouncing off the other.... that's what this forum should be all about!!! LOL!!! Lots of fun!!!!

Oh, that's just your hormones talking....you have to look at it objectively.....whether you think he's hot, ugly, kind, an asshole....whatever....you have to separate your opinion of the actor himself from your views on his acting.....
I think there has been a lot of improvement.....maybe he has been more than capable the entire time, but the writing didn't allow much extension in the way he portrayed his character....at least until the plot started to move along a bit...I don't know.....I just notice a difference.....and I have to give him some much needed kudos because it's very impresssive....I'm proud of him, sort of....ok, more grateful because it adds so much to the show

Nope, it was I who questioned his acting abilities in the beginning....he really wasn't a bad actor, but there were a few things that were borderline annoying....hell, even the director thought the same thing of the clip take I watched....so I couldn't be completely wrong...then there are many others who think the same thing....it really doesn't matter anymore because he has proven he can hold his own with the big dogs....I think he has learned a lot and it shows......Kudos....We love you Weenieworth, but always remember I love you the most....who else would be so honest??

Rob K. and Peter Stormare are tough competition, but I still think Michael's acting was very good from the beginning, not just mediocre in comparison to the other 2.

When ep 13 has aired I'll rewatch the whole thing from 1x01. Knowing how it ends and having seen season 1 twice already, maybe I'll be able to concentrate on Went's acting skills and detect what you 2 are criticising.

Throw a group of really crappy actors in a movie together and have one who is decent, but by no means full of talent....now, the decent one is going to seem like a better actor than he truly is because the others have absolutely no idea what they are doing.
