Well they will escape before episode 8.. my guess they'll escape in episode 7..

I thought I read that the guards catch up with Michael for something though.

Well in the next episode Michael gets spotted by a guard starring at him and comes in and asks him why he was starring at him, then I read somewhere that the guards question him or something about when he fixed the water problem for Lechero somewhere around the episode bang and burn I think it's called.

fire and water it was called, the guards see michael looking at them through the benoculars and then they come in to sona and ask him why when he doesnt answer they hold a gun to his head and ask again then the preview ended

No, I meant around the episode bang and burn or whatever it is called apparently the guards ask him about what happened in fire/water so I read. And yes through the binoculars, that is next episode which is Interference.
