Wow, an excellent episode, gotta say.

As for Lincoln... Well, it's pretty obvious he'll survive, but I wonder... How will it look like? The sniper on rooftops misses the shot? An obstacle appears in between? A person, perhaps? Lincoln accidentally spots the sniper and quickly runs for cover?

I don't know, either of these would make a " slender " choice, so to speak.

Chrstina changes her mind and cancels the order? Would be in Prison Break manner, no?

Anyway, as for the remaining episodes... Judging by IMDb, we'll be seeing those two additional episodes after all. Moreover, they're scheduled to air on the date that was originally planned for 21. and 22. episode. So, what's the catch? Well, the last two airings will be " double episodes ". Hell, yeah! Of course, if we could trust the info on IMDb, that is.

Anyway, I'm so looking forward to it.

I don't know....

They are certainly packing a lot in, and while I agree that PB does that a lot, the last few episodes have had me thinking the show was moving in a different direction. The tone of this episode was much more like a Season 2 episode rather than a Season 4 episode. I'll get over it.
And what was wrong with season 2? I actually liked season 2 and thought it had a lot to offer.

I don't know if I would say the show was/is moving in another direction. The goal of the season has been the team trying to gain their freedom. There have been a few twists, but I think they still all want the same thing. Now they have to retrieve Scylla in order to gain that freedom, or at least that's what they've been told. In that respect, it's different because they now have to retrieve what they stole in the first place. But there is still the group dynamic at work. We still get to see a group of the guys, sitting in a room, trying to organize and plan a course of action, much like we saw in the warehouse earlier in the season.

I'm not convinced he was working for their mother. Michael had already been told that his mother was alive, so I don't really think the writers would make a big deal about that, especially since Linc had already met with her. Wouldn't you think Michael would be willing (and excited) to meet his mother, so why would the writers make a big deal about who this guy was working for? I dunno....
This is one of the reasons why I believe the man may have been working for her. Micheal had just spent all that time talking about his mother and seemed to be relatively naive about her potential involvement with everything that is currently going on. He thinks the only foe he has to worry about is the general, but the last thing the man said calls all this into question. I don't think it would be a but much, given that Linc already met with his mother, simply because the man never got the chance to tell Michael who he was working for. I think it makes sense because it puts both the brothers in a different place right now. Linc has a better idea of what is going on and what they are up against. If Micheal doesn't find out more about his mother prior to meeting with Linc again, it should make for some interesting interactions, like Linc having to inform him of what has been going on, which may lead to Micheal having doubts and even questioning his brother. In that respect, the writers set things up nicely.

Yeah I totally agree, I thought Wentworth didn't care at the beginning of the season either. I also really liked the scenes in the church with T-Bag, Self, and Mahone. Good episode overall, I just wish I had more to look forward to.
Hm, I don't know if I would say Wentworth didn't care in the beginning--there's no way to tell. I think it had more to do with the material he was given and the fact Mahone's character clearly outshone many of the scenes. Speaking of Mahone, damn I am loving him this season. WF is a frakking genius and he truly....so very truly...deserves his own show. He was killer in the last episode. I loved T-bag as well. How can anyone not love T-bag....he gets some of the best lines and RK plays him so very well. Self, of couse, was convincingly played. The guy so comes across as a major douchebag. I don't think I could be left alone in a room with him, without wanting to strangle him within the first five minutes. Sarah was looking lovely as always.

You want something to look forward to? Try watching BSG. The show is a brilliant work of science fiction, but it's not what you would expect, not entirely. There's a lot of allegorical content. The acting is of superb quality. The show has action, drama, intelligence, and heavy emotional content. I truly reccommend it to anyone who is looking for something to watch. There's been a prerelease of Caprica, which is the prequel to BSG. I've already seen it, and it looks really promising.

Oh, and before I forget, I'd like to say it's nice to have you back on the forum. Your comments are always greatly appeciated and I look forward to reading them.

I have to get ready for school, so some brief comments:

(1) There is nothing wrong with Season 2, it was what got me watching this show weekly. I just felt that this episode (while quite good mind you) was different in tone from the last few.

(2) I've seen BSG (every episode now, actually), and I have to say it's just an ok show. It has some interesting ideas, and they did luck out with some of the actors, but there were a lot of so-so episodes. You would also be lying to me if you didn't think it was preachy or pretentious at times.

(3) Thanks for the compliment. You know I always love posting about PB, and of course chatting with the always lovely candyrose.

I can agree the tone has changed a bit.

I can't believe you didn't like BSG and thought some episodes were so-so. Most of the episodes were crucial to the story, so I could hardly call them insignificant. No, I actually don't think BSG was pretentious or even preachy. I can see how someone would think it's at least preachy, but I don't agree. I think some people, not all, might say that simply because people get frustrated by anything that forces them to think about things, especially when this inludes questioning themselves, their actions, and their place in the world. No one wants to think about or acknowledge they don't know everything, have made oodles of mistakes, and are not the people they'd like to think themselves to be. I like BSG because it show so many characters with so many flaws.

I dunno.... I just got bored with it. I can see where you are coming from, but to be honest it just didn't do that much for me.

ya I agree - I liked that "truck" scene and Michael`s childhood story - it was really sweet. But he behaved like an a** with that pizza scene...I mean I don`t like Linc`s character (or the actor himself) but still what else should have Linc done? Leave him for death? it proves more that Michael wants to be the rescuer and not the rescued one...but t-bag`s scene with that priest was the funniest since the begining of this season I think his answer I mean
