| Lincons mother was being treated for her cancer tumor by the company. That is what the doctor was referring to as "only once" when he answered the general. This was why his father Aldo worked for the company, thus the producers have morally cleaned his character, even if he was a hitman of the company, responsible for probably several questionable deeds. The deal was probably that Aldo worked for the company, and in exchange they kept his wife alive. Some argument between Aldo and the company must have led them to stop his wife's treatment, or even taking direct measures as killing her. Perhaps Aldo couldn't stand all the unethical actions that he was involved in, even if "the end justifies the means", and from there the grudge that led to his wife's end began. However, once his wife passed away, Aldo had freedom and retribution to pay. So he started to work against the company. I can not even being to guess what Tombstone II refers to, but no doubt that whatever task it is that Lincoln has been forced to accept, his father had care of (you guessed it) Tombstone I. The irony is as obvious as the skies yet fairly beautiful; how Aldo fights the company so hard, runs away from them so bad... and not only does he get killed by them but his son ends up on the same payroll as he was. Toughts? Comments? |

| I think that's insanely plausible! Tombstone II could be related to her! |

| Tombstone refers to the stone in their brains that leads to their tomb , yes this a stupid thought - but hey you never know. Your insight into the future episodes is bang on I am sure, well thought. |

| i have this feeling that gretchen still works for the company....now that lisa is gone...and the generals resentment at lisa for quitting...gretchen has something planned....and I am a believer that christina rose is still alive... |

This is a total guess, but I thought Tombstone I could have been how the Company faked Christina's death so she could go away and start over. (Why she would do this I have no idea.) Anyway, then Tombstone II could be a way for Lincoln and Michael to put everything behind them and start over somewhere. Fake their deaths. It's a total guess and most likely none of us are right, but I'm sure anxious to find out what it really is. | |

| Somehow I have the feeling that Lincoln's mom is not dead, only my wild guess, since "not everything is as it seems", such as Scilla can all of sudden become a "good thing" and company is trying to protect it. PureRumble's analysis makes a lot sense I guess, but Burrows and Scofield will probably be working with the company against some other organization, maybe the one who has Scilla now. However it is, I believe there will be a big supirse waiting for us at the end of the season. And I didn't like it when they made Sucre say some bs like "I want to live my own life, I gotta move on" just because they for whatever reason won't have him in the next part. Like after all these hard work and fights, he suddenly becomes a life-enjoying homesicky douchbag. |

| Senior Member | I think tombstone 1 was the defection from the company of Lincoln and Michael's father. So tombstone 2 is now their mother's defection... maybe even spruned on by their fathers death
