I Really Think That Sara Is Still Alive.
As for the head, it could have been to force michael to break whistler out even more. The company could do anything, they changed Steadman's DNA! they could have done somthing to someone to make her look like sara.

well we didn't even see her face in season 3 , plus her name was removed from the intro and i heard that this actress moved out from Prison Break !!!!
although i loved her

Hmm I already forgot, that Susan was going to chop LJs head off as well. And therefor I think it really was Saras head. This morning I was so sure she was alive, but now I remember this scene and I don't know what I think anymore

If she Is coming back. The head would be from the person that Linc identified in episode one. I mean what normal person would honestly be able to stare at a severed head to make sure?

let us all hoping she will be back.maybe she really shoul be dead but suddenly the writers changed their mind after the scene in which susan wanted to chop ljs head!!!!andmaybe...with just having a little hope(just like linc and michael always used to say)she will return!!!!!!!...............
