Have you ever noticed how similar the two names are?

Do you think it is just random?

Theres no connection what so ever at this time. Unless they somehow make some elaborate plot in season 3 where it turns out Micheal and Lincolns mother is still alive and another company story is unravelled. But I'm just blindsiding here.
