Theres no connection what so ever at this time. Unless they somehow make some elaborate plot in season 3 where it turns out Micheal and Lincolns mother is still alive and another company story is unravelled. But I'm just blindsiding here.

I think that desdemone66 makes a good point regarding Scofield & Ecofield, it may just be a coincidence or an elaborate twist that will unravell in the 3rd season who knows.

It has no meaning for the plot, but its obvious that the plot makers choose the names to be similar on purpose, just to someone to notice it. Really interesting ^^
