Season 5?

So, let's pretend Michael is still alive....what would they do in Season 5? I have my idea I'll share in a bit, but I'd like to hear others' takes on it, so....post away! Maybe if one is good enough, FOX will bring it back!

Fox will never bring this show back.... It's sadly too far down the ratings now.... It's not got much favourable comments over the last while...

However, we should all play along... just to keep the show alive....
For one.... I would bring back Whistler.... Yes indeed, well they brought Sara back... anyway, Whistler actually didn't die the gunshot wound... but was in a deep coma for months.... he wakes up and has a personality change.... he becomes a deadly assassin who then decides to go all vigilante.... He teams up with Michael, who also somehow survives death.... as he has been put in this cyrogenic capsule thus keeping his body perserved until they can zap some juice back into it.... and they then team up to take on the world... they drive a 67 Chevy Impala across the US.... hunting things as they go....

Oh I dunno.... Gary, I would love to run with this story.... but it's kind of hard honestly, with main characters already dead.....

Please do post your ideas though.... We would love to read them!!!

Ok I just had this thought how awesome would it be if Prison break came back and instead of doing the life of Michael and Linc they did of Mahone and he was the main character instead. So the story would be the same but instead it would be in Mahone's point if view.

Prison Break <3, that would be cool. It could show Alex getting brought in by the company, and the Oscar Shales case and stuff like that.

I haven't watched the Final Break yet, but I've read enough spoilers and comments about it to think I have a pretty good idea what happens.
The biggest problem for writing it is the fact that 4 years later everyone still believes Michael is dead, so I will write my little idea anyway, and just ignore the last few minutes of the finale.

Since Christina was almost as smart as Michael, she knew there was a chance her plans would not go as planned, so she created a back up plan. The UN guy who exonerated the whole team was in fact working for Christina. Before she died, she gave him instructions. If he was given Scylla, he was to keep it quiet for a month or so, and then contact her for the next move.

When UN guy realizes something must have gone wrong, he finds Christina dead in the warehouse. He calls the authorities, and insists upon an investigation. (This explains why Christina is one of the only dead people every investigated on the show)

Much to UN guy's delight, Sara is found to be guilty, and is thrown in prison. This makes Michael vulnerable, as he is desperate to break her out before she has her baby.

UN guy promises to assist in the breakout, if Michael agrees to help him with a task afterwards. (Explains the super speedy breakout) Michael agrees, but knows that no one else will approve of the bargain.

Once Sara is safely out of prison, he fakes his own death, so he can hold up his end of the deal.

When UN guy realized Christina was dead, he saw the great potential to become rich, if he followed Christina's original plan. And so, he decided to start a war between China and India. While Michael was an excellent start to the team, he knew he couldn't work alone. UN guy selected two others, who he valued for their intelligence. He blackmailed them, and Alex and Kellerman joined the team.

Meanwhile, Lincoln and Sara are devastated by Michael's death, but they still must find the energy to run. Cops and FBI agents are hot on their trail, so they cannot waste any time.

They sneak aboard a barge that is headed to Panama, and hide themselves amongst the cargo. Its a rough ride, especially wedged tightly out of sight.

While Michael, Mahone, and Kellerman drag their feet on their given assignment, they devise a plan to double-cross UN guy. They will ensure he is arrested, but must first arrange a perfect location to set him up.

Upon arrival in Panama, Sara and Lincoln sneak out of the barge, but not before they are spotted by the (American) captain who recognizes them both. The Panamanian police are immediately called and the chase begins. Eventually, they loose the cops in a crowded outdoor market.

They drive along back roads, to Sophia's apartment. When they get there, the greetings are short, as Sophia and LJ are visibly shaken. They take Lincoln and Sara over to the computer where the screen shows that it is on europeangoldfinch.net. On it, there is a desperate message from Sucre in Chicago.

Well this is taking far longer to type than I anticipated, so that concludes the end of Part 1. I'll try to write the rest, or at least more of it in the next couple days, but I promise the rest will include an old enemy, a new allie and the shocking truth about Michael's tumor.

Mind Grenade that is quite detailed and well thought out! nice!.... the only thing is that Sara goes to prison in the Final Break. Don't think that's really a spoiler...

Also, we've already been in Panama in seasons 2 and 3... so don't think we'd want to take it in that direction.

What I was thinking for season 5 (Not very detailed):

Linc and Michael get hired by the government to be advisers regarding security and potential breakouts at various federal institutions.

Michael will not be able to contact Sara or let her know he's alive since it will somehow put her and the baby in danger.

and that just opens the door for all kinds of stuff.....another government conspiracy, another guy they discover is wrongly imprisoned, or one of them ends up getting locked away at some terrorist camp or some gulag in Siberia

I just think it opens up a lot of possibilites for ongoing plot, action and maybe a new take on the prison/manhunt storyline

and then of course a crossover arc with 24...

I guess watching The Final Break will make it easier to come up with a better plot for season 5.

Thank you for the input GaryRamsey2. Yes, it certainly is detailed, but I enjoy letting my imagination run wild, so its a delight. You're idea sounds very interesting also. Would Michael and Lincoln be off the radar agents, or be able to pull out their badge to whoever they please? Just curious.

Some parts of what happens next in my imaginary story are in need of some serious help. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them! Areas in especial need of improvement are in parentheses.

Immediately after reading Sucre's message, Lincoln decides he owes it to him to go help him. The others however refuse to allow him to go alone. The next morning they find a private plane. The pilot is a Panamanian who seems to have know idea who they are. He agrees to fly them, but can only take them as far as Atlanta.

Upon arrival, Lincoln calls Sucre on his home phone, but instead of Sucre's voice, the person who answers is Caroline Reynolds. She informs him that she has taken the very pregnant Maricruz hostage and that she is certain Sucre will be easy to catch if her demands are not met. (What shall her demands be? What is a reasonable yet exciting motive?)

UN guy's team reaches out to the Indian president (whose name escapes me) and informs him of Christina's untimely death and that regardless, he still has Scylla, but because of the extra hardships involved, the price has doubled. The president states that he will be in New York for a conference, and that he would like to make the exchange there, in one week, for the new price.

The team researches, and finds that ironically, the conference is an anti-war seminar. It is however still in need of a speaker. Kellerman, Mahone and Michael manage to steal waiter uniforms, so during the conference they will be able to observe all that happens.

Before the conference, Michael contacts Lisa Tabok. She agrees to do as she is asked, but insists that after the conference she needs to talk to him. (How did he find her)

At the conference, Lisa Tabok is the speaker. She talks about Scylla and how awful it is. She reveals that Christina intended to initiate a war with it for her own profit. This of course makes both the Indian and Chinese very upset with UN guy. During the conference, Michael has yet another nose bleed. UN guy is arrested for conspiring to start a war? (If anyone has a better idea as to how to get him in jail please share)

When Michael and Lisa meet, she asks if he has still been having nosebleeds. Reluctantly, he admits he has. She explains to him that it is because he still has a tumor.

When the Company had to operate on him, he had 2 tumors. One was so awful that it would have killed him in a very short time. This is the one they removed. The other tumor still a very malignant tumor, but would cause no immediate harm.

The General ordered that only the worst tumor be removed, so that he could function for the mission, but would die regardless in approx 6 months. Lisa continues however that his remaining tumor is not uncommon. In fact, regular hospitals operate on them all the time. Michael, shocked by the news stumbles out of the meeting and shares it with Kellerman and Mahone.

Of course more must still come to the story, but I'd like some opinions first. ie) Caroline plot. Any help is appreciated, and I hope I haven't bored you with my long winded ideas.

As far as Michael and Linc being off the radar, I think to make things more difficult for them they would not be able to reveal that they are government agents, and if they did they would put someone's life in jeopardy. That way they will be in a moral dilemma every time they were in that situation.

MG - with the rest of the story you got I think you need to think more outside of the box. I mean we need to see things we haven't encountered yet. We need to go way over the top.
