For four lonnnnng seasons, we have waited for our admittedly imperfect but otherwise innocent boys to beat the company and go free. The finale looked like it was headed in the right direction--the good guys go free, T-bag goes back in Fox River, The General fries in the chair...even Christina Scofield gets her comeuppance. But Michael DIES? Of a "hereditary" disease that we found out several episodes ago couldn't have possibly killed his mother, and that may have been a fabrication in the first place? WTF? And where was LJ? Certainly, seeing his gorgeous face just one more time would have softened the blow... PB writers, you did us wrong...

I disagree. This is a prison break. Prison break is not just another typical show where every major character survives and at the end everyone walk away happily beating the bad guys. I was actually expecting the series ending with all the characters walking towards fox river's entrance once again in cuffs with the camera zooming out and sad music playing in the background but this ending was no less sad and it shows why prison break is the best series ever. Because you never know what will happen and who will survive at the end of the day.

Well I was hoping for such finale where there isn't any hope displayed on the character's faces, walking silently towards Fox River chained in cuffs. That would have been really memorable (also would have been possible if ol' Kellerman betrayed them at the end) AnywayI am also satisfied they did not make the ending with all the good guys alive living happily forever (Also don't forget poor Don Self, that guy looked completely wrecked at the end)

But them coming back to prison? That'd have sucked big time. It's not a pretty message that all they did was for nothing. I'm actually glad the show ended with a positive message; even if it cost the life of the main character. | |

My brain likes sad endings. They have so much effect. My heart hates sad endings. I use my brain for prison break!
