| Well if we believed what Matt Olmstead said it was!!! Cant agree with that at all, it was not a happy ending the finale and the film! The film just reinforced the sadness even more, I hate whinging about stuff but it wouldn't of killed them to give us a happier ending on both the finale and the film. There should have been some light on such a dark show, there was no balance! |

| There was no balance? No light? I think people are so focused on Michael's death that they cannot see anything else. Pretty much everyone got at least somewhat of a happy ending, other than Michael himself. I don't see how anyone could say there is no "light." Sucre and C-note were set free and given the chance to start over with a clean slate. Linc got that shop, found love, and was able to be reunited with his son. Mahone started over and found someone special himself. Are those not good things? Happy things? And Sara, yes, she was without Michael. However, she looked happy. Michael saved her life because if she had stayed in prison another day, she and her baby would both be dead. She now has a son and a new life. What's even more screwed is how some people are saying it would have been much better if Michael had lived and a few other people had died instead. Well, if that would have happened, then the ending would have been much darker than it turned out to be because more lives would have been lost and even more people would have been affected. To the people who thing that ending was crap or too dark, all I have to say is you really shouldn't have expected otherwise. The entire Prison Break series has been filled with blood, pain, and death. Look at season one, for example. Season one was brutal; it was full of violence. It was far from a happy little story or a fairytale. The ending the writers chose fits with the Prison Break formula that have pretty much stuck to since the very beginning.
