Prison, nice idea.

I like the ending. I don't understand how anyone could claim the ending was unhappy and made them miserable. Look at all the characters and how they were reunited with their families and able to have the lives they always wanted. Sure, one of the good guys died; it doesn't mean the ending wasn't happy, though.

Well i totally disagree with that, not every character are abble to live the live they always wanted. I'm sure Linc will love to have his little brother by his side again and that Sara would have love to have a father for her son and a lover. Sucre would propably love to have his good friend alive again. And as far as i think the ending was well writing i think they wanted to avoid the pathetic happy ending and that they make it even more pathetic by killing the hero. My point.

Okay, you made a few good points. I get what you're saying. I'm not saying Michael didn't mean anything to them and they were not affected by his death. Of course, they mourned the loss.

All I am saying is some of the characters, like Sucre, for example, wanted nothing more to be with their families. In the end, he was able to do just that. And Sara, well, I think she got the life she wanted as well. It may have not been exactly what she had in mind, but I think she's happy. She has a son....she's a mother. She always made some really good friends. She can trust these people and count on them. They share a bond not many others could share.

Happy endings are over-rated in my opinion. Who cares if he died? It's just a show, you should appreciate how great it was over the 4 years not to complain about someone dying...

The death was only bad because it was so badly unexplained, only a commercial break seperated a random nosebleed and death, if there was another episode in between showing the events from the nosebleed it would have been better.

2 Things:

1) The point is to care that he died!! If we didn't care for the characters it would be a poor show!! The fact the shows been going for 4 seasons makes your statement 'who cares if he died?' madness!!

2) There is going to be an epsiode that fills in the gap between the ending and the '4 years on' moment.

Because I'm not like "I cried" or "The worst thing that happened to me" because to make an interesting show great, you have to have twists and turns, and to see them living 'happily ever after' would have been more of a disappointed because it would have been a damp squid ending.

That's a good point no doubt, and you're right that it would have been a boring ending if it didnt't happen. Yet to say 'who cared if he died?' in my opinion is wrong. The fact that everyone cares that he died creates an ending with drama, which isn't boring.

Well, yeah, I have to agree with you on that, but I don't think it's as horrible or stupid as some are saying.

AnywayI am also satisfied they did not make the ending with all the good guys alive living happily forever (Also don't forget poor Don Self, that guy looked completely wrecked at the end)
yeah i know i felt so sorry for don self the company took his wife and then made him a paraplegic the only reason he wanted was for his poor wife in the first place

shows they have guts, and they wanted to be different, all shows have good endings, but in truth they need to be honest with us
