I Think it was kind of like he hadn't done anything wrong but there was no place left for him like where were they going to go with his character!
So i think it was kind of their way of letting him die with dignity unlike with roland he was trying to sell them out to Wyatt so he died horribly were as Bellick hasn't actually done anything wrong recently all he's done is help them and i think all the other characters even T-Bag knew Brad was harmless i know he wasn't in fox river but even then he was just hiding behind a uniform so i think they all knew he didn't deserve to die hence why died with so much dignity and respect especially form Sucre because since the escape he has spent the most time with Sucre, Sucre even met his mother. I think it was brilliant the way he died, i would of been severely disappointed if he'd died horribly and T-Bag made jokes about it and the rest weren't really all that bothered.
