| why are they going to go back to prison if they dont help the government? surely they (well mike and linc at least) were pardoned at the end of season 2, and since they went to panama because panama wouldn't extradite them to the US you would think any law they broke in panama wouldnt matter in the US. Or have i missed something they did? or am i just being really really stupid? cheers people |

| No, that's not a stupid question at all. I suppose that Michael would go to prison due to his breakout of Fox River and that he actually was sentenced for bank robbery. So actually he has to do his bird, not to mention that he broke the law by escaping. Lincoln killed the Company guy in Panama (in the first episode of the fourth season) and was turned to the US. He actually has to take responsibilty for killing the guy. Mahone confessed the homicides of several people when he was brought to court by Lang and Sullins and then was returned to Sona. So he is charged with murder. Sucre is one of the escapees of Fox River AND Sona. Bellick escaped from Sona and is charged with murder of the prostitute who was actually killed by T-Bag. So I guess the USA has to deal with it now that Sona doesn't exist anymore and that he is back in the US.

| thanks Tina. The michael one is still confusing me though because at the end of the 2nd season I am sure that both linc and mike were both exonerated based on the cia guys testimony! Ah well you must be right anyway I cant see how the show would make an oversight like that! |

| It was only Linc that was exonerated... and beside ... He ''killed'' Bill Kim.... wekk strictly speaking he assumed responsibility... instead of blaming true culprit Sara.... He also broke out of Sona.... So he does have a lot to be jailed for....

| lincoln was exonerated, sara said to michael based on kellermans testimony they could probably get his charges dropped too, but that was before he "killed" bill kim which probably ruined his chances. then he escaped from sona which added to his charges. on a side note...based on the timeline when the show takes place, michael planned to go to panama because they had no extradition policy with the united states, but that actually changed in reality around the first season of the show...so it is likely that because of the change, michael, linc, mahone, t-bag can be held accountable for their crimes in panama in the u.s.
