It's cool, yippey. Despite that we just had thunder and lightning and my dog is freaked out which is bad because I want to take him to the vet now.
Miserably hot is a terrible thing. I recommend no movement, cool shower, cool drinks, ice cream.
At least you don't have a week of really long PE lessons in the heat.... It's a really warm week here so far.... we are up in mid 20's ... that's great for us here in the UK.... practically unbearably roasting here for us!!!

Hurrah.... I've been on here for five minutes now and so far have not been kicked off..... that's a bonus!!!!

< HOW> is everyone this evening?

AJ & I are off in a bit to watch National Treasure 2 on TV... so will check in again later if my earlier exorcism of this computer worked.....

I just participated in a gay magazine's sweepstake for the House S3 DVD box. Before you ask what they wanted me to do, it was just send an email!!!

I ran into another door knob today, and now my hip hurts again. I can't find my instruction manual, either, so I don't know if I have all the pieces together. It's making me mad.
What did I miss, what did you take apart now? The door knob? You have door knobs that come with instruction manuals?
Sorry about your hip!

Where's Calena today? She's been rather quiet......

So what do you think of the 2nd National Treasure, Smiley?

Dammit....You are sneaky. I type this up and post it, then there you are...with a new post right before mine.....

No, I did not take apart a door knob. I was referring to how they hate me, the door knobs. If you remember, a few weeks ago I was brutally attack by a door knob which left the most hideous bruise on my hip imaginable. I had a small break...some freedom....but that demon door knob came back to attack once again. It hurt like hell. I thought the door knob was going to punch right through my hip....I wouldn't be surprised if I had small bony fragments of hip...just a shaking around all in there.

The instruction manual went to the punching bag that attacked me the other week. I had some luck and found it not too long ago, so I am no longer in a frantic pace, searching for the damn thing. I finally reconciled my grudge against the punching bag as well--I threw it down some stairs. Ok, Ok, I kind of scooted it, then rolled it, then let it slid on its own down the stairs.

National Treasure 2 is a good movie... AJ prefers it to the first one.... I am finding them both the same...well maybe it's a tiny bit less engrossing then the first one, but enjoyable all the same!!!! Helen Mirren is a good addition to the cast as is Ed Harris.... And I kind of like Bruce Greenwood as US President... sad bit though is that it doesn't have Sean Bean in it like in the first one.... Shame that.... I'd have liked to see a bit more of Sean.....
What did ye all think of it yourself....???

I would agree they are more or less the same, but if forced to choose I'd say I like the 2nd one better. I love the bickering that goes on between both couples, and found it somewhat amusing.

National Treasure, both films, were ok, but nothing that will make it in my Top 50 best movies ever list.

OMG... You and My MiniMe, could be clones.... he said the exact same thing... He, too noticed the fact that both couples were fighting and made a comment about the fact that they were both argueing about the same sorts of things... only one couple were older.... Gez, I swear, he put you up to saying that... If I didn't know I was in the way of a clear path to this computer... [that, btw... has not froze up all evening... I must have exorcised that demon from earlier...

Yes, they should because the damn thing won't leave me alone! What did I ever do to that door knob? Nothing, absolutely nothing! I was kind to it, even polished it on occasion.

Exactly. The punching bag must certainly had it coming. If I were a little bit bigger, I so would have unleashed some killer moves on the damn thing.

Smiley, how did you know! Yes, he managed to sneak on here while you were offline. Said he would bake me a batch of cookies and send me some of your better booze if I agreed with him.

Maybe the polishing aggravated it? My mother is a avid door knob polisher too, I never saw the use of cleaning doors, though. smiley, how angry do you have to be to actually polish your door knobs? I bet it takes some ridiculous anouncement like "Sara's alive" to make you do that.

No, all door knobs love a good stroking! Didn't you know that? Door knobs have needs too, you know. Oh, I swear, Calena has so much learning to do.
